When Bette left the Planet she went home to relax a little before she would call Tina’s office. She didn’t want to seem nervous on the phone. She had taken a long bath and she was very relaxed now and she thought she was ready.

Lisa: (Tina’s assistant) Tina Kennard’s office

Bette: Hi my name is Bette Porter and I am the director of the California Arts Center and I was wondering if there was any way possible for me to speak with Ms. Kennard

Lisa: Hold please Ms. Porter

Bette: Of course

  Bette didn’t know what she was going to say to Tina when she came on the phone line. She was as scared as she thought she would be. Bette had never in her life been this scared. But she knew that Tina was going to play a big part in her life, at least she hoped.

Lisa: Ms. Porter

Bette: Yes

Lisa: Please hold Ms. Porter while I transfer you to Ms. Kennard’s cell phone she is on the lot on a set right now.

Bette: Oh if she is busy I could try later.

Lisa: That is alright Ms. Kennard ask me to transfer your call to her, so please hold.

Tina: Bette how are you?

  Bette was lost for words when she heard the blondes beautiful sweet southern drawl, she didn’t know how she would make it through the conversation with out passing out.

Bette: Hi Tina and I am good. How are you?

  Tina liked that every time she heard this beautiful woman speak she got butterflies. 

Tina: I am busy as always. My days seem like they get longer and longer but I am sure you feel the same way sometimes with your job.

Bette: Yes I do. Sometimes I think I am never going to get a day away from the CAC but then again I do love my job and that helps a lot.

Tina: Yeah I love everything about the movie business besides the travel and hours I have to put in. Bette if you are calling for the contracts I am sorry to tell you I have not had a chance to get them ready yet, I am sorry.
