    Author Notes:

    Shane and Carmen get an unpleasant surprise, Helena reports and Bette is in for a shocking experience. Also a new character called X comes to the island, he’s played by Al Pacino. And no, they don’t call him X, I just write that because his real name is confidential information ;)

    "You killed them! Why?! Why would you do something like this? They were my family, you freak"

    "No!" Shane gasped as the heavy cloak of the past settled upon her, mocking and confusing. She wasn’t sure which scenery was real and which was just in her head.
    The blood was everywhere her father’s blood. It was all over her
    "I swear, I didn’t do it!" she cried in despair.

    "You ***** freak!"
    Clea raised her hand about to stab Shane again, but this time Carmen wasn’t going to let her. She smashed the stone into Clea’s head, causing her to sink into a heap on the ground. Just to make sure she wouldn’t cause any more trouble than she already had, Carmen took Steve’s sword and let it fall on the young woman’s neck.
    "I swear, I didn’t do it!" she suddenly heard Shane cry behind her and she quickly turned around and sat down by her side.
    "Didn’t do what, baby?" she asked and caused Shane to snap out of her daze.
    "Nothing." Shane just shook her head, trying to suppress the haunting memories. "Are you okay?" she asked concernedly as she remembered how it all started.
    "Yeah," Carmen nodded with a pale smile. "I didn’t exactly get shot, it just touched me. I’ll be fine. Do you think you can stand up?"
    Shane nodded and moaned as Carmen helped her get up on her feet.
    "We should take their weapons with us," she said, her husky voice sounding strained. "Then you’ll get something too Oh *****, that’s raw, C!"
    Her glance had fallen on Clea’s deformed head and the sword that had parted it from the rest of her body and now lay on the ground next to it. Shane winced in disgust at the sight.
    "Just so you know" she moaned and picked up the sword in spite of her injury, "if a person’s brain is halfway out of her head, you don’t have to decapitate her. She’d already be dead."

    Helena stood outside the school and eagerly watched the helicopter as it landed on the island. The roaring of the motors and propellers made her ears hurt but nothing could take away the smile on her lips. When the door opened and the man she had not seen in such a long time climbed out of the helicopter she could no longer restrain herself.
    "X!" she shouted happily and ran towards the landing ground to greet him welcome.

    3. That was nuts. I loved it. Didn’t expect Bette to get killed off so soon, that was cool how Tina flipped out. Now that she killed her she’ll hack anyone. Did Shane have an out of body experience? Hope Carmen realizes she better stick w/ Shane. Keep up the great work.
