She was interrupted by a cry from Tina. “Where is Angelica?! She was with us! I held her, but… she’s not here!”

Bette sat down next to Tina and wrapped her arms around her. “Maybe she’s with Kit,” she said and tried to comfort her girlfriend. “I don’t even remember what happened… Do you?”

“Bette, she’s not with me,” Bette heard her sister’s voice from across the room. “’Cause I’m right here.”

“Then…” Tina sobbed, “what happened to her? We were home, just watching TV, Bette. Don’t you remember?” Tina was already starting to panic when she felt the metal against her throat. “What is this?” she shouted and grabbed the necklace and started to pull at it desperately.

“I wouldn’t tug at that if I were you,” a familiar voice said from the door that was now suddenly open. Helena Peabody walked into the room with a vicious smile on her lips, followed by a team of armed guards.

“What the ***** is going on?!” Tonya shouted and one of the guards immediately aimed his gun at her.

“Quiet, all of you!” Helena ordered them. “And sit down! These guys mean business.”

Everyone in the room did what she demanded and sat down on a chair, a desk or the floor.

“I’m Helena Peabody,” she began, “if anyone didn’t already know that. I brought you all here so that you can play a little game with me. The task for today is that you will all kill each other.”

“What the *****!?” Alice exclaimed. “Have you completely lost it, Helena, or is this some kind of sick joke?” Alice had only just finished the sentence before she found herself staring right into the muzzle of Helena’s gun.

“They’re not the only ones who mean business,” she said coldly. “Shut up, Alice, I know how to use this thing too.” She lowered the gun before she continued. “As I was saying – you’re all here to kill each other, until there’s only one person left. All methods are permitted.”

She pulled down a large map over the blackboard. “You’re on an island that looks like this,” she explained and pointed at the map. “I’ve bought it and everyone who used to live here moved, so we won’t be interrupted. The whole island is divided into different zones. I will be reporting every 6 hours and I will tell you what areas will be danger-zones. If you are in such a zone you need to get out of there as quickly as possible. And why is that? Well, because of the collars you’re wearing.”
