Before she rose from the bed she asked, "May I kiss you goodnight?"
The timid smile on Tina’s lips was all she needed, she leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips, "Goodnight T, sweet dreams", she murmured.
"Goodnight, Bette …sweet dreams too," she replied as Bette started walking away, "Oh…….and……..I like it….."
Bette turned back an inquisitive look on her face, "You like what?"
"When you call me, T……….no one has ever called me like that before! It’s nice because it is from you and only for me!" a big smile appeared on her face.
Bette’s heart melted. This woman was affecting her like no one ever had before…..no one had ever come close to making her feel like this woman made her feel at this very moment. "I am glad! ……… goodnight again…then……..T!" She made her way to her bedroom. She needed a shower……a very cold shower.
Moments later she was ready for bed. White tank top and long stripy pyjama bottoms. She was tired and yet she knew sleep would be restless if it ever came at all. She smiled at the thought of the gorgeous blonde down the hall from her. She was tempted to go and see if she was ok but she thought better of it and climbed into bed.
Minutes soon turned into hours and sleep was still eluding her.
She had turned over for the Nth time and punched her pillow one more time when when she heard the screams coming from the other bedroom. She got to her feet quickly and ran up the corridor to Tina’s room. She swung the door open and found the blonde sitting up in the middle of the bed. She was sobbing violently.
Bette walked over to her. She could barely make out her features in the minimal moonlight coming through the window.
"Tina..what’s wrong……?" Bette asked worriedly. She had reached the blonde and was now sitting next to her on her bed, her hand gently rubbing up and down her back in a soothing manner.
The sobs coming from the blonde seemed to quieten down. Tina turned to the brunette who was comforting her. "I had a nightmare! ………about the accident….it happens from time to time!" she said sniffling, her voice barely above a whisper.

I hope Bette sees that Tina is need of her help. Please don’t let Tina be really hurt of die.
This is how life always happens isn’t it. You have the best days of your life and then you fall. Will Tina’s sight come back from this hit? Will she like what she physically sees when she sees Bette? Will any of that even happen? Only you can answer my many questions. Please answer them soon. This is such a great story.
Please give us another great chapter. Can’t believe you left us with Tina bleeding on the ground. I hope she regains her sight.
I’m at a loss for words. Wow. That was *good* Going on your A/N, I’d expected it to be something like Tina getting so scared she called Dana to come and get her or sth like that. Anyway, I hope Bette is able to help Tina by bringing her to the hospital in time. Please don’t kill Tina!
I btw must admit that what ladydove said went through my mind for nanosecond as well – will Tina regain eyesight? That would have quite the impact, her whole life is built on the fact that she’s blind now and although she’d probably be happy to see again, it will also feel so strange and maybe in those first few days or months she would long to be blind again. Anyway, I don’t know nearly enough about science, biology or anatomy to know whether that’s even possible with blindness.
That was both beautiful and heartrending. Whatever happens, I wish this story would go on, and on, and on and on….
Ladydove, I have the answer to one of your questions: “Will she like what she physically sees when she sees Bette?” Come on, my friend… I really have no idea what Kins has in store for us, but one thing I know for certain is that if Tina ever recovers her sight, she might surely go blind again because of Bette’s dazzling beauty… Don’t you agree? ;) Thanks a lot for the update Kins, and please let Tina be okay. K
Oh damn, please tell me you already have the next chapter ready to post. Please make Bette look up and see her lying there bleeding. Maybe this will be the shock to the system that will restore her sight. Personally, I think the force of the airbag hitting her in the face is what caused her blindness and now the force of the fall and hitting her head will cause her to see again, hopefully. Bette please look up the sidewalk for Tina or at least get out of that car and go look for her, she has already been gone to long. Great update. Thanks for posting. PPVVS

OMG Kins40…! You left us here?!? So cruel…! LOL thanks for another great chapter :-) I’m looking forward to know what happen next..PPVS. Btw still can’t believe Bette let Tina walk by herself on that condition (slippery, raining, etc) regardless how familiar Tina is with her place, however … I believe you won’t let something bad happen, right?? :-) PS: call me silly, but after you left us on the ending of previous chapter, I thought Tina miraculously gain her vision back. But now.. Would it happen?? …. Anxiously waiting for your next post :-)
