    Megan was about to reply when the nurse knocked on the door quickly entering the room and smiled at Tina upon seeing she was now awake “Glad to see you awake Ms. Kennard..I will alert Dr. Larson…I’m Deana your nurse for the night…How are you feeling?” She greets as she turns to the monitors and

    Megan was about to reply when the nurse knocked on the door quickly entering the room and smiled at Tina upon seeing she was now awake

    “Glad to see you awake Ms. Kennard..I will alert Dr. Larson…I’m Deana your nurse for the night…How are you feeling?” She greets as she turns to the monitors and presses some buttons. Tina feels the cuff around her arm tightening

    “For the night?” Tina asks as the nurse nods

    “Yes. You sustained a moderate concussion and Dr. Larson ordered you to stay overnight for observation.  It was noted upon your arrival at the ER that you exhibited signs of confusion upon awakening and fainted when  the paramedics arrived. But Dr. Larson will be by in a little while to speak with you with further diagnosis and for you to ask any questions”

    Tina sighed “All I have are questions right now” she responded as Megan squeezed her hand in support and genuine comfort.  She was not used to seeing Tina like this and it greatly concerned her

    Megan watched as the nurse finished with Tina and walked of the room leaving the two alone.

    “Tina?…What is going on with you?  I want to say it’s your concussion but to think Aunt Denise was dead…I mean that’s very concerning”

    Tina nodded “I don’t know what is happening..You will think I’m crazier than you already do if I tell you any more”

    Megan shakes her head “Obviously something is going on with you because you aren’t acting like yourself.  Again it could be just the concussion”

    Tina sighed

    “Today is January 15th, 2019 right?” Tina asked

    “Yes” Megan answered

    “I live at 2367 Ingalls Lane?”  Tina stated wanting confirmation

    Megan sighed “No Tina..You live on Pollard Ave”

    “No..I don’t..I live on Ingalls Lane..And you know that..You have been to my house many times” Tina retorted growing increasingly frustrated

    “Tina you have never lived on Ingalls Lane..You have a home on Pollard Ave.  Well it’s  a mansion for lack of a better word”

    Tina found herself chuckling.  “Yeah.Ok..A mansion..Riiiight” she says sarcastically

    “Tina you really aren’t remembering everything are you?”

    “I remember everything perfectly.  It’s you that’s been telling me otherwise..And today I saw my deceased father in law.  That I have never met before in my life.  And he supposedly was talking to Bette.  And then you are telling me my mother is alive and well..It’s not possible”

      I think i am as confused as Tina about whats happening? There seems to be two timelines at once that she is in, maybe even three?

      I am curious how this story will develop.

    5. Well, this is intriguing…. an alternative universe all together…. and she meets Bette Potter, her mother is alive, she has a sister she had no idea she had….. I too would be wondering if I just wasn’t dreaming….trying to figure out what’s real and what’s not….

      Like to see this progress….. and soon… Thanks for the chapter..

I absolutely love where you are taking this story…. another timeline, in another place in time and space, another dimension, possibly where the ongoing spirit of Tina has chosen to grant her heart’s desire to be reunited with the love of her (this) lifetime. Love it, love it, love it! Why not? Looking so forward to the next and continuing chapters!!!!! Great nom de plume, for this story especially! Thanks from a fellow stargazer!
