It was 5:30 when Harmony was aroused by the sensation of a cold tongue all over her face.  She began to get excited, that was until she opened her eyes.  She was face to face with a tiny grey husky with the greenest eyes she had ever seen before.  She sat up and squealed as she picked up the puppy and looked around the room.

Harmony:  Where did you come from?!

She looked over her shoulder and found Bette standing in the door frame.  Harmony flashed a million watt smile at her soon to be wife.  It took Bettes breath away to see the look of sheer happiness on Harmonys face.  Harmony had did so much for her in this transition that it warmed her heart to be able to make her feel just as good.

Bette:  Merry Christmas firecracker.

Bette walked over and kissed her on the forehead.

Harmony:  B hes beautiful.  Or she.  What is it?

Bette:  I think its a boy.

Harmony:  Whats his name?

Bette:  Whatever you want it to be.  Hes yours.

Harmony sat and thought about a name.  Harmony was citified but she had an underlying love for animals.  Especially dogs.  Bette had noticed when they first got together how Harmony would melt in the presence of dogs, cats, birds, and squirrels, whatever.  She took note how she completely lost it when they once sat a beautiful Husky in the park once.  Bette had to practically drag her away from the dog just to get some attentions. 

Harmony:  I dunno what to call him babe.

Bette:  Well its no rush.  You can name him whenever you want.

Harmony:  Okay

Harmonys attention was now completely on the puppy.  She played with him and held it like it was a baby.  She sat and was completely engrossed in the dog when something shinny around his neck caught her eye.  She stilled the puppy and looked closer at the object.  It was a ring.  It looked exactly like the one she got Bette but it was yellow gold instead of white gold, to match the rest of her jewelry.  Harmonys mouth fell open as she looked over to the side of the bed where Bette was now on one knee.  Their eyes met each others.
