    Bette, Tina, Alice and Shane ahhhhhhhhh X

    Bette slept sporadically, tossing and turning right through the night. She woke at 7:30 to the phone ringing…

    Bette: " shit who’s ringing at this time"

    She picked up the phone…..

    Bette: " what?"

    Tina: " Bette?"

    Bette sat bolt upright in bed: " Hi yes, sorry Tina"

    Tina: " did I wake you?"

    Bette: " yeah but I wasn’t really sleeping properly anyway, you ok?"

    Tina: " no not really…… I’m sorry Bette but I can’t do today, I got a phone call first thing this morning, I need to go and see a client"

    Bette’s disappointment took over her body, she slumped back down into bed: "That’s fine I understand"

    Tina: " do you really?"

    Bette tried for a blarzay approach: " yeah sure, it’s fine Tina honestly. We can do it another time."

    Tina paused: " ok then. Thanks for understanding. I’ll call you ok"

    Bette: " ok, see ya"

    Bette: (arse holes, I was really looking forward to that! Jesus, that woman has got me under a spell, anyone else I wouldn’t have been that bothered, but god the ache in my chest)

    Bette swung her legs over the side of the bed, and marched into the bathroom, where she started the shower.

    Sheer determination set upon her face….. (I can’t and won’t let this get to me…it was only a day out, no moping about Bette Porter)

    She got showered and dressed, and headed out for the Planet. Tina was on her mind all the way there. Her chest began to ache again at the thought of missing out on a day alone with Tina…..

    She pulled into the Planets car park. Resting her head on the steering wheel….. There was a knock on the window, Bette startled and looked up. Alice was standing outside the car with a concerned expression on her face. Bette got out of the car and smiled.

    Alice: " you alright Bette?"

    Bette: " yeah Al fine, you coming or going?"

    Alice: " coming… you sure your ok, you don’t look it"

    Bette snapped: " Alice I am fine, for FUCK’s SAKE"

    Alice looked shocked, she had seen Bette blow up before but not that quickly!

    Bette registered what had just happened.

    Bette: " Oh Alice I’m sorry, really I am" she placed a hand on Alice’s shoulder :" I just didn’t sleep well last night, that’s all."

    1. Oh why do i love this story so, let me count the ways….. So I’ve just caught up on the first 6 chapters of this story and I’m hooked. I love this story because it’s about friendship. Sure I’m happy that Bette and Tina are together but more so than their relationship I like the relationship b/w Bette and Shane. These two seem so alike in so many ways and it’s great to fina;;y read a story that focuses on thier deep frienship. The steamy stuff b/w Bette and Tina doesn’t hurt either….LOL. I can’t wait for the next post.

    4. Yea… sometimes life will just get the best of us… and seems like Bette has been spending a lot of time on her friends… she’s really g GOOD friend. Anyway, hope B&T will be in a real relationship soon… in that way Bette will feel secure and happy ever after ;)
