    chapter 10

    Bette and Tina at home

    “Bette, are you ok?”

    “I’m just tired.”

    Bette hadn’t slept well last night. She had kept tossing and turning and getting out of bed and wandering around the house. Tina had finally gotten up and found Bette sitting in the living room.

    “Baby, how about some warm milk?”

    “I’m not a baby” Bette said tiredly.

    “You’re my baby.”

    “Ah. That’s so trite,” smiled Bette with soft eyes.

    “It’s the best I can do at 2:30 in the morning,” Tina chuckled.

    “Thank you, T, but I really don’t want milk.”

    “How about some herbal tea?”

    They had both had the tea and Bette was finally able to go to sleep.

    “Where are Angie and Stacy tonight?” Tina asked.

    “I think they’re out at the beach at that school-sponsored outdoor movie.”

    “It’s kind of cool tonight,” said Tina, the worried mom.

    “Oh, I imagine they’re keeping warm,” Bette raised her eyebrows suggestively.

    “Bette,” said Tina, reproachfully.

    “T. they’re probably all over each other. Making each other crazy.”

    “I don’t like them out there doing that.”

    “You don’t like them doing that anywhere.”

    “She’s our baby,” said Tina softly.

    “She’s eighteen with hormones popping and a beautiful girlfriend. And they’re in love with each other.”

    “Still….”

    “It’s dark and everyone out there is making out.”

    “It’s not safe.”

    “Would you rather have them in Angel’s room right now, having sex?” Bette asked quietly.

    Bette looked at her wife of many years but Tina was looking pensively off into space.

    “Yes,” said Tina and Bette’s eyebrows went up. “Well, it is time for Angie to have an apartment somewhere close to the school.”

    Bette wasn’t guessing about where Angelica was. She insisted on knowing her daughter’s whereabouts and Angie was very good about letting her know. Bette knew the “make-out” area of the beach, the event they were attending and was confident that the girls would be safe.

    And in fact, they were safe, but very much involved with each other. They were kissing, kissing, kissing, but trying not to stray below the shoulders.

    “Sweetheart,” Angie said. “Can I go lower?”

    She had caressed Stacy’s breasts through her clothes, but had never touched her naked body. And they both knew she wanted to touch Stacy’s breasts. In fact, Angelica ached to touch them. She had dreamed about seeing them, touching them, kissing them. Angie had fantasized so much about making love to Stacy that it was very difficult at this moment to stop. Stacy was right here, in her arms and Angie wanted, at the very least, to have her naked to the waist.

    2. pancha..this is very interesting. Your dialogue is pitch perfect. Are there really lesbian courtesans? Where do you find them? I thought I was pretty worldly but obviously not. LOL.

    3. Poor Angelica, all this waiting is gonna kill her, but at least she’s understanding, some much like her mamma B. Bette with a courtesan, hmmmmmmmm, well ya have to learn somewhere. Love this, its so full of interesting bits of information, especially about B&T. Can’t believe Tina would have preferred them having sex in their house.

    7. Angelica I going to bust if she doesn’t get to make love to Stacy…….soon. I would have never imagined Bette having her 1st experience with a courtesan. I thought her smooth love making style just came naturally. Great chapter Pancha!!!!

    8. So Bette got some help with her sexual experience. That is pretty cool to get the experience from someone who knows how to please another. This sounds a lot like the father taking his son to a prostitute to gain some experience. I don’t think that Angelica needs to go a courtesans but I am not the mother of her. Can’t wait to read what else you have up your sleeve.

    10. I think Bette may get a little resistance here, as the ‘courtesan’ proposal diametrically opposes Tina’s “sex without love” theory. Besides, Bette’s sounding like some Victorian rich guy sending his son off to become a man. Oh, and I’ve seen MANY a professional woman in my time in NY (even on the upper east side near where Garbo used to live), not one of them remotely resembling either Garbo or Camille. Say, is Bette subconsciously concerned that Angel will be able to keep up the Porter mystique?

    11. I think Angelica will want her first time be with Stacey and it will take a litte time for Tina to recover from the suggestion. It is a creative solution, thinking outside the box to figure out the best way to educate Angelica on getting inside the box. : )

    13. Well, that’s not exactly “screwing around,” but…yeah. No one wants to suck at sex, and no one wants their kids to suck at it whether they want to admit it or not. But come on! I would’ve laughed my ass off if my partner suggested that, then cut her off from sex for awhile. Yes, I can be that vindictive, but I’m neither Bette nor Tina so we’ll just have to see how this plays out. I really hope you get some colorful comments on this one. It was a doozie for sure. ;)

    15. Life lessons from Bette – I don’t think Angelica would be down for this – she’s in love with Stacy and wants to share that experience with her – which is uber sweet.

    27. Hey Pancha, Long time no comment but I have been here enjoying your wonderful writing. Was in hysterics at Bette and Tina’s conversation. I think it was Tina’s amazment crossed with Bette’s pride that pushed me over the edge. I really can’t wait to see where this leads. As for Angel and Stacy, it was good that they are taking things slowly because the pay off will be immense. The drive and desire to go lower was there but tempered brilliantly with the want to have a perfect ‘first time’. Thanl you so much for this fantastic and thought provoking fan fiction.     28. Oh my this is so funny, so that is how Bette got her skills so fast and so young :o)) But I can’t belive she would send her daughter to one, especially not when she has Stacey. I can understand that this must come as a BIG shock to Tina!!! Angel and Stacey will learn together, that is beautiful and sweet. The two girls have agreed to wait about sex…wait until what and why???? More please, this is so great :o))

I mean, if the lesbian story Tina wrote didn’t work and neither did Bette’s explanations afterwards, then the worried parents should ask Shane to give Angie some hints. I don’t think that a courtesan it’s a good idea, kinda funny for me to read but not to hear it from my other half.

    34. If I may, I’d like to quote Bill Clinton and say, “I feel your pain” Angelica…it’s definitely a struggle when you feel hotter than a summertime BBQ and the other party won’t fan the flames.
