    Shane plans to play matchmaker

    ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE Chapter 6

    Bette dragged her attention from her writing and looked at the clock on the computer screen – 3pm – Dan would be home in an hour and Josh would be back from his playgroup and the usual chaos would descend on the house.

     

    She loved it when they were all playing and racing around but silence was oh so sweet. Lara had gone for a walk with Zak but would be back in time to collect the boys.

     

     

    She got up and wandered into the kitchen to fix herself a sandwich as she had been so engrossed in her writing that she had missed lunch.

     

     

     

    Outside the house Shane was checking the plan they had drawn up – she was distracted from her work when Maggie walked up to her and started to thread herself through her legs in order to get some attention.

     

     

     

     

    Shane bent down and started playing with the cat who immediately rolled onto her back for some tummy tickling attention. Bette collected a bottle of water from the fridge and went outside.

    “Don’t forget to add onto your final bill the cost of cat stroking “

     

    “Hey there Bette – she’s got very used to the team – especially Lynn’s corned beef sandwiches “

    “Yes – she can be very devious when she wants something – here’s some water – its hot out here “

    “I only notice the weather when its cold “

     

     

     

     

    “Can’t be much fun doing what you do in the winter – do you get many jobs?”

     

     

    “More hard landscaping obviously and I can turn my hand to most little jobs. If you ever need a plumber “

    “Ohh – now that is a talent. I am not bad with DIY things but the last time I tried to change a washer I floated the bathroom “

    “Easy to do. I do okay in the winter “

     

     

     

    “You work very hard Shane – actually Helena is very impressed with your work – well I was singing your praises actually and I pointed out to her that her company’s premises are in need of some plants and attention. There’s a water fountain that has never worked in six months – she’s got a landscaping company but she never sees them “

    13. Took you long enough. Shane really would be a tart if she started charging for stroking pussies like Bette suggested. I’m glad Shane and Jodie have teamed up to help B & T. Grief is a many tentacled bitch, but Tina’s mindset is just screwed up. They could both use some help.

    17. Ally, Great to have you focussing on this story again. It is a fabulous piece of fan fiction and so in your superior style. I love the easy way that this flows. Shane is being a true friend to both gals and determined to having them get together. Interesting take on Jodi here. Just hope that she keeps focussed on Bette and Tina and not Bette and Jodi… Fur might fly if she does and Shane hears about it. Just need to gently push Bette and Tina until they knock heads and realize their feelings for one another. Great storytelling whcih is most enjoyed. Thank you from Your Loyal Fan.
