After Tonya Chapter 5: Club Part 2
*It’s going to be a while before I update, I have a bit of a block and I’m deciding which way to take the story at this point. I have two possibilities partially written. “Hey Perkins, your break was over five minutes ago.” A young man in a chef’s uniform said as he walked passed the women toward the men’s locker room. “Um, yeah, okay.” Lara answered slowly still not knowing what was going on. Dana saw the look on Lara’s face and felt she should offer an explanation. She redialed her voicemail number, entered her password, and handed the phone to Lara. Alice wrapped her arms around Dana placing one hand on Dana’s lower back and the other on the back of her neck, trying to calm her tense girlfriend by rubbing her neck. She kissed the top of her head and watched Lara’s face as she finished listening to the message. Lara hung up the phone and looked a bit worried, she had no clue who the woman was, but she sounded very threatening and dangerous. Lara did not know what the woman was capable of, but she was very worried for Dana, and especially Alice. Lara flipped through Dana’s phone to see if the woman’s number showed up, but as she expected it was blocked. “Okay, I’m going to call Shane back and see if she knows anything yet.” Alice said getting her phone. Dana sat down at Alice’s table and Lara put a supportive hand on her shoulder. “I’m also going to have her come pick you up.” She said looking over to Dana. “I think it would be best if we don’t go together.” Alice explained. “Lara, we need you back here.” Lara’s supervisor said from inside the kitchen. “Todd went on break and we have a large group coming in ten minutes.” Lara rolled her eyes, a little frustrated. “Okay, I’ll be right back.” She yelled toward the kitchen, Alice and Dana were the only people in the restaurant at the moment. “You guys give me a call if you find anything out and keep me updated. I’ll call you when I get out, I’ll do anything to help.” “You don’t have to do that, Amy is coming home.” Alice said after leaving a message on Shane’s cell phone. “It’s no problem, I’m sure Amy will do anything to help also.” Lara said walking toward the kitchen. “I’ll talk to you later.” “Thank you.” Dana said to a departing Lara. Dana was so happy that Lara had found someone she was happy with, her and Amy were a very caring couple and she did not doubt that either of them would do anything to help. Alice’s phone rang, breaking the unusual silence of the restaurant. “Hey Shane” Alice said answering the phone. Alice packed the stuff on the table up as she listened on the phone. “Okay, sounds good, I will wait here with her until then. Thank you.” Alice said closing her bag. Alice hung up her phone and pulled her wallet out. “Okay.” Alice said pulling out some money and placing it on the table by the check. “That was Shane, she hasn’t been able to find anything out yet; she has been busy at work all morning. She has one more appointment and then she’ll be here. She said it will take about an hour.” Alice said getting up from the table. “Okay, that sounds good.” Dana said looking a little more at ease. “Let’s go get you showered and changed.” Alice said putting a hand on Dana’s shoulder as she stood up. “I’ll act as your body guard until Shane gets here.” Alice said now putting her arm around Dana. “Yeah, I need a shower.” Dana said relaxing even more. “I was going to say something about that, but I didn’t want to be offensive.” Alice replied hoping the joking would help her to relax also. Dana playfully slapped her, “I don’t smell you know I never smell bad.” She said. The playfulness in her voice was helping to calm Alice’s nerves. What would she do without Dana here with her through this? Of course she would not be in this position if she was not with Dana (she hoped), but she also could not help but think Dana wouldn’t be in this situation if it were not for her. If Tonya was behind all of this then there would be no doubting that Alice was to blame, she did ‘steal’ her away from Tonya while they were engaged. Alice could understand holding a grudge, but this? It was a bit much, even for the ‘cat killer’, as Alice thought of her. The two stepped into the locker room and walked over to Dana’s locker. Alice sat down on the bench as Dana opened her locker and began to pull out her shower things. Alice reveled at Dana’s perfectly toned body as she began to undress. A dreamy smile came across her face as she began to day dream about the wonderful things Dana’s body could do and how much pleasure it could make her feel. The robe moving up Danas back to cover her body brought Alice out of her day dream. Dana turned away from her locker and picked up her shower things off the bench. She looked over at Alice with a smile. Okay, Ill wait right here for you. Alice said with a smile. Ill be ready to kung fu any suspicious looking women heading toward the showers. Alice said putting her tough face on. The look on Alices face made Dana laugh. Yeah, Im sure you cant wait to jump any half naked women. Dana said raising her eyebrows suggestively. Alice stood up proudly, I will do anything I have to do to defend you; even if it means jumping tan, toned, half naked women. I guess I will just have to sacrifice myself. Alice said, knowing it would get a rise out of Dana. Dana looked deep into Alices eyes, You better not be jumping any other half naked women in here or you will have more to worry about than someone sneaking up on me in the shower. Dana said jokingly, attempting to ease her girlfriend and pulling Alice toward her by the belt loops on her jeans. This was not the reaction Alice was expecting, but she was not complaining. She loved when Dana took control like this and looked at her like this. She wrapped her arms around the tennis player, their eyes still locked. It was moments like these that made Alice feel like they were the only two people in the world. Dana leaned in to kiss Alice, but a loud crash brought them out of their world with a jump before their lips met. The couple put their foreheads together with a small, somewhat nervous, laugh as they realized that this was not the appropriate time or venue for this. Go get a shower already. Alice said with a kiss on the side of Danas neck, just above the collar of the robe. Ill be quick. Dana said giving Alice a slow sensual kiss before walking toward the showers. She hoped that Alice was a little calmer now, she could not help but feel completely responsible for everything that had happened, and now Alice was being threatened too. Dana was trying to be strong, but she was worried, not for herself, but instead for Alice. After all, the message was threatening Alice, not her. Alice walked to the end of the bench and sat down. How could anyone hurt this wonderful woman? Alice thought to herself. She just did not understand, Dana could never hurt anyone or anything except a tennis ball and maybe her opponents ego. This was all her fault, the only reason this is happening was because Alice had crossed the line between friend and lover. I really fucked up this time she thought to herself. I will never be able to live if anything happens to hurt Dana in any way. Alice was so lost in her thoughts, worries, and guilt that she did not notice the woman who caused the crash leaving the locker room behind her.
