After the Kiss: Chapters 3 & 4 Nice and Easy

Eric – Now, that was out!

    Brad – Hell, no!

    They look at the women.

    Tina – It was in!

    She shouts.

Eric – Damn! You’re supposed to help me here, babe!

    Tina chuckles, shaking her head.

Meg – They love each other, don’t they?

    The blonde turns to her.

Meg – They are becoming best friends!

    Tina – Yeah …

Eric screams when he closes his game and she turns to look at the men.

Meg – I always hoped that this would happen. That we could continue our friendship even after marriage … And that our men could be best friends like us!

Tina turns to her with a squint.

Tina – Are you trying to marry me already?

Meg – He is great! He fits in perfectly with your life … hell, with our lives!

    She chuckles.

    Meg – Don’t you think?

The blonde looks back at the two men, who are arguing and teasing each other again about a ball.

    Tina – I do …

Meg – Besides … I’ve been married for three years now. It’s about time you find someone!

Tina – Well, you and Brad dated during college.

Meg – And you broke up with your college boyfriend!

Tina – We were not right for each other.

Meg – Greg was fine! If you ask me, you are too picky!

Tina – I’m not picky! I’m just … waiting for the right person. I’m not in a hurry!

Meg – Well … Eric is quite the handsome! I’ll settle for him!

Tina laughs and watches the men again.

Meg – You know I’m kidding but … now Brad has someone to distract him while we talk.

    She smirks.

Tina – Well, he has Mark.

Meg – And you didn’t want to date Mark. And now Mark is dating a girl with whom I don’t have much in common.

    Tina – Me either.

Meg – She is such a snob!

Tina – He needs to break up with her.

    Meg – Amen!

The two women laugh. They turn to watch the men again.

    Meg sighs.

Meg – it’s just nice … the four of us. Isn’t it?

    Tina nods.

    1. I like this story. Tina is beginning to see her dissatisfaction with Eric. And Meg? She wants Tina to marry someone to be friends with her husband so she can have time to talk to her BFF? That’s a bit selfish isn’t it? Hopefully Meg is a better friend than that. Well can’t wait to see how this acquaintance between Bette and Tina goes.

      Great chapters …hungry for more.

    2. Hi dbff!

So glad you’re picking up this story again! I definitely remember it and can recall what happens at the party but I can’t remember if the entire story was finished or not. Anyways, can’t wait for the next posts!!

    3. Hi dbff,

Nice and easy…i would never settle for that and i hope Tina will neither. It is obvious she isn’t in love with Eric.

      Well done Bette!!!

      Great chapter!

    4. Seems that Tina trying very hard to get in her “normal” world – or how she still trying to see it. But something has change for her.

Thank you and waiting for next!

    5. Hi Dbff:

Wonderful story, and a very nice chapter.

I see how hard Tina is fighting her homosexuality and attraction for Bette, that happens many, many times, and can go good for open-mind people who decide to live their lives and be honest with themselves without hiding from the rest of the world, and it can go bad for the ones who decide to live a double life or even worst to fight the ones that had the strength of coming-out.

Anyway, Tina is in a ‘spiral collision course’ with her destiny, the future love of her life.

Nice move Bette, so smart to invite Eric and Tina, Bette is cornering the blonde, and let’s see or rather, read what you will write in your next chapter.

Very nice DBFF, please post soon.
