Bette: I’m so scared. I don’t know what to do
Kit: Shhh try to calm down. Have you spoken with the doctors yet?
Bette: No. They keep passing me like I DON’T ***** EXIST
Kit: Shhh now. You don’t want to go to jail do you?
Bette: It’s not like I haven’t been there before
Kit: Now is not the time to joke around Bette. Calm down and sit
Bette: I don’t want to. I’ve been sitting all day. If I wasn’t sitting then maybe my friend wouldn’t be here
Kit: Enough! Sit down
Bette: But I-
Kit: Now
Bette takes a seat on the couch…Kit walks over to the information desk
Kit: Is there any word on Alice Piezeki?
The hopsital doors opens…In comes Dana, Shane and Tina…Tina spots Bette and goes over to her…Bette takes her lover in her arms…Her tears flow heavy this time soaking up Tina’s shoulder area of her shirt…Tina pushes her lovers hair behind her ear
Tina: I’m so sorry for Alice. I don’t know what to say babe. Please don’t blame yourself. It was an accident
Bette: Yeah waiting to happen. If I wasn’t so ***** selfish. I swear Tina I take back everything that I said to her. I swear
Tina: I know
Tina pulls Bette into her and embraces her…The doctor comes out and joins them all inside of the waiting room…
Dr: Bette Porter
Tina release Bette and Bette stands up…She wipes her face
Bette: I’m Bette Porter
Dr: Hi I’m Dr. Monroe I’ll be Alice’s care taker for the afternoon. May I speak with you over hear please?
Tina: Can we all hear? We are her family as well
Dr.:I’m sorry I wasn’t aware of that.
She turns to Bette
Dr: The reason why I called you was because you were the emergency contact number in her phone. Your number showed up a few times on her phone today. Well as you all should be aware of is Alice had alot of internal bleeding…She is going to need someone to help her out for atleast a month or maybe even too. She lost alot of blood but thank god to the medical field with all of their new inventions we were able to stop the bleeding expecially from her lungs. Now if you don’t know she has been raped and beatened. Her face will be sore for about 3 weeks and the sweloling isn’t going to go down for about a month. Right now she can only see out of one eye. She is stable though. We gave her a pregnancy test and she is fine. But we did find ***** in her. Her ***** walls are damaged and it looks as though she might have to come back for another check up for down below. But otherwise she is going to make it. She is sleeping right now the medication makes the patient sleepy and it helps her to relax
Every takes a deep breath…
Shane: Thank god
Tina: Thank god
Kit: Amen to that
Dana: Thank god
Bette leans over…Her tears weld up in her eyes…She places her hand on her chest…She turns to the doctor
Bette: Can we see her?
Dr.: You can. But only two at a time
Kit: Why don’t Bette and Tina go first
Shane: Ok
Dana: Ok
Dr.: Right this way
The doctor leads Bette and Tina down the hall…They take a left at the end…The doctor opens the door to Alice’s room…Tina takes Bette’s hand in hers…The two walk the door…Tina walks in first…Tina gags…She can’t hold it much longer…She runs over to the sink…She throws us…Bette breaths…She enters the room…She sees Alice and all the tubes…She places her hand over her mouth… She walks over to Tina who ushers her away letting her know that she is fine…She walks over to Alice’s bed…She looks at her…And she takes her hand in hers and she squeezes it…Her tears weld up again…She rubs her friends hand
Bette: Alice….

oh my..im shocked..and pray is the only thing to do in this case..hope Alice be ok and they find out who did this to her and i refuse to believe that Helena is behind this..ok great but SAD chapter post soon!!! :o(

What a way to mend a friendship. I do hope at some point Alice uses her wonderful sense of humor to deal with this. She will need it to deal with the pain as time moves on. Please post another chapter soon.
Did it have to get this bad before Bette got over gerself? And Tina needs to suck it up. But I guess if you don’t see and render care to broken bodies for a living, it might make you a little queezy. She’s such a girl.

Even though the events that took place were unimanginable, you did a fantastic job telling the story. Its not Bette’s fault, and I know her and Tina will take care of Alice. Big question is what the heck was she doing in South Central, no place for Alice.
