    Friend or Foe…Fate is tested as time ticks on the clock…Alice is hurt and in need of her friend…Bette rushes to Alice’s side…Will she make it?…Only time will tell

    Dr. Wilson: Wow. I see your body doesn’t rest does it?

    Tina: Nope I am always on the go

    Dr. Wilson takes out the transducer…She places it to the side while she gets the other tranducer for the other ultrasound…

    Dr. Wilson: Tina lift your shirt up

    Tina does…Dr. Wilson applies a clear water-soluble warm gel onto her skin…She then presses the transducer against her skin and moves it back and forth…Bette and Tina both smile

    Bette: Is that our baby?

    Dr. Wilson: It is. Shhh listen you can hear her heart beating

    The listen to the babies heart beating

    Bette: Wow it’s beating so fast s

    Dr.Wilson: Yeah but it is ok. They say that if your having a girl that the heart beats really fst and when you are having a boy the heat beats slow

    Tina: Really?

    Dr. Wilson: That is what is said

    Bette moves closer to the screen…She looks at the baby…She doesn’t see anything wrong

    Bette: You see anything usual?

    Dr. Wilson: No. But she is getting big though

    Tina: Tell me about it. She always kicks me all the time

    D.r Wilson: She is kicking already?

    Tina: She been kicking since my 4th month. I think she is happy. I talk to her alot. And this might sound crazy but I think that she understands me. That’s the onlt time that she kicks

    Dr. Wilson: You know just because she is inside doesn’t mean that she doesn’t hear you guys. Babies love when you sing to them though

    Tina: Ok I’ll try that

    Dr. Wilson takes another look before she shuts the monitor off…She takes the tranducer and places it on the table

    Dr. Wilson: Ok Tina. The baby is fine and she is healthy. I don’t see any signs of damage to your organs. So you are all set. Any questions that you have you can just give a call

    Tina: Ok

    Dr Wilson exits the office…Tina puts her clothes back on and she and Bette both exit the office…They arrive at Bette’s vehicle..Bette opens the door for Tina as she gets in the car…She walks over to the drivers side and she gets in…She takes onle look at Tina and she smiles

    Bette: I love you

    8. It’s sad to see that it takes events like this to bring people together but that is life. I hope Alice can get trought this and without a doubt Bette will be there for her. Great chapter
