Bette lifts her head up and looks at Tina…Bette looks as though she had just seen a ghost…Reappear and then disappear…Bette knew that someday Tina would want to know…She just didn’t know when…For a second Bette thought that maybe Tina would have never asked…Bette takes a deep breath…Bette takes Tina’s hand in her own…She then turns and talks to Tina

Bette: (looking at Tina)…I um…(looks down at the floor then back at Tina)…I am fine Tina…It’s just that I knew that this moment would come…But I didn’t think that it would be so soon…I thought that things between us were going great…It;s just that when you wanted to know about that affair…I felt like my last breath had been taken away from me…I know that you would never want me to feel that way…But…(Bette is cut off by Tina)

Tina: (looking at Bette)…But what Bette?

Bette: (looking at Tina with tears in her eyes)…I am so sorry

Bette begins to cry…Tina then takes Bette in her arms…Tina then realizes that the door is open…She then goes over to the door and closes it…Tina then walks back over to Bette

Tina: (looking at Bette)…Ohhh…Come here…(Tina wraps her arms around Bette and holds her)…Bette what ever you say baby I am not going anywhere…(lifts up Bette’s face to hers)…I will be here for us Bette…I don’t want to go back down that road…If we are going to move forward with us…(rubs her stomach)…Then I think that I have a right to know Bette…The last thing that I am trying to do is hurt you Bette

Bette wipes her tears from her face…She then sits up on the bed…Bette takes a moment to take in Tina’s beauty and take in the words that Tina said…Bette wants to move forward and if Tina wants answers…Then she will have to give them to her no matter what the outcome may be…Bette takes Tina’s hands in hers

Bette: (wipes her face)…Ok…(looking at Tina)…What do you want to know?

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Tina: (turns towards the door and back at Bette)…Hold on

Tina walks over to the bedroom door and opens it

Shane: (looking at Tina)…Hey Tina…(Shane then sees Bette)…Hey Bette

Bette: (looks at Shane)…Hey

Shane: (looking at Bette then back at Tina)…Hey…Well look we are gonna go back to my place…But um thank you for inviting us for some stew…But we are gonna go…So I will talk to you tomorrow…You do know that I live next door with Jenny
