“Well well. See I always thought it would Bette who was cheating.” Joyce said from behind her desk. 

“Bette please we have to talk about this before we do just call it quits.” Tina said. 

“No, we don’t either you can move into the old house or I will.” Bette said. 

“We sold the old house.” Tina said. 

“No, we didn’t.” Bette said. Tina was confused. 

“Technically you did sell the old house but the buyer bought the house and put it in trust your kids. I drew up the papers my self, quite genius if you ask me.” Joyce smiled. 

“Leo didn’t tell me.” Tina said. Bette rolled her eyes. 

“Leo? Oh you mean the father. Yeah it wasn’t him.” Joyce leaned back in her chair. 

“If it wasn’t him then who the hell was it?” Tina looked back and forth between Bette and Joyce. Bette didn’t answer. She was fighting the tears back. 

Joyce cleared her throat. 

“I think maybe it’s best if we discuss custody.” Joyce said. 

“I’ll move back into the old house.” Tina said quietly. 

“That’s settled.” Joyce said. 

“I think we should split custody 50/50. A week with you a week with me.” Bette said. 

“Okay.” Tina said. At this point she didn’t know what else to say. 

“I’ll be back, just going to get an agreement drawn up for you both to sign.” Joyce said. Tina watched Joyce leave. 

“Bette please can we work this out.” Tina begged. 

“I don’t know Tina. I saw the way Gillian looked at me today. It made me feel about this big.” Bette held up her fingers about and inch apart. “I always said that I’d never be this person, who let someone cheat on me. It was one thing when it was just about sleeping with other people but you’ve brought feelings into it.” Bette said. 

“I’m so sorry. Please can you forgive me, I didn’t mean to fall in love with her.” Tina begged. 

“I don’t know Tina.” Bette couldn’t even look at her. 

“How do I fix this?” Tina asked.
