“I love her too very much.” Tina said
“Good, now I must get going” Melvin said as he walked away
As Tina was making her way back to her friends she was being stopped by some people she vaguely remembered meeting in New York she recognized them as some of Bette’s work associates, she smiled shook hands and made small talk.
Bette was looking at Tina work the room, Tina always found it easy to get along with everybody, Bette smiled they made a great couple or had once made a great couple, she hoped it wasn’t too late, she briefly lost her train of thought when she saw Tina tilt her head back and laugh at something someone had said.
‘I love her so much’ Bette said to herself
She shook her head and rejoined the discussion, with her colleagues.
It was 2 hours into the opening and the Gallery was packed, Bette was tired she was being pulled every which way, thank fully things were running smoothly the caterers were a hit and the drinks were flowing according to James about 40% of the pieces were already sold and the night was still young.
Bette and Tina managed to keep an eye on each other steeling glances and a few sexy looks. It had taken Bette every ounce of strength not to grab Tina away and take her in her office like she had done countless times in New York, Bette had to remind herself again that they were not together.
Bette scanned the room for Tina again and she saw her standing at the bar, she excused herself and made her way over to her, she needed to relax a bit and Tina always managed to make her feel better. Bette froze where she was as she saw Helena tap Tina on the shoulder lean in and whisper something in her ear, Tina turned and gave Helena a huge smile and she went in gave her a peck on the lips and a huge hug. Bette saw them hug and hold each other as they both whispered into each other’s ears Tina then took Helena’s hands in hers and held them, Bette abruptly turned and walked away not being able to handle seeing the love of her life with her current girlfriend being affectionate.

I understand why Tina was waiting to tell Bette after the show. She knew how important this first show was and didn’t want to risk knocking Bette off of her game. Maybe they can sell the new house to Dana and Alice. PPS:o).

It’s about freaking time they got back together. Also happy Helena told Bette they were no longer together. Now Tina has some explaining to do of why she kept quiet about them not being together while living in the same house. Can’t wait to see how she explains herself.
