    Chapter 8

    Chapter 8

     

    They walked back to the house gathering their things preparing for the drive back home.

    “Bette, I’m going to make sure everything’s locked up before we leave ok? Tina shouted to Bette

    “Ok Tina I’m going to take these empty containers to the trash and put the stuff in the car”

    “K”

    A couple of minutes later Bette made her way back to the house in search of Tina.

    Bette saw her standing in the upstairs balcony there was a slight breeze that was now gently blowing though Tina’s blonde hair Bette had to take a step back and take in a deep breath, the way Tina looked made Bette’s heart beat faster ‘She’s so damn beautiful’ Bette thought to herself.  Bette quietly stepped behind Tina and placed her chin on Tina’s shoulder.

     

    “Penny for your thoughts” Bette said

     

    Tina took a deep breath “It’s nothing, I just love it here that’s all”

     

    “We, should get going it’s getting late” Bette said

     

    “Yeah alright, I noticed the rail off the bedroom balcony is a bit loose remind me to tell dad, I need to get someone to fix it that could be dangerous.” Tina followed Bette to the front door and set the alarm to the gate.

     

    Tina drove home this time.

     

    “I think I’m going to buy new furniture for this place, what do you think?”

     

    “A great idea, make it your own, the place is already great architecturally, new furniture would make it even better, wait I thought you weren’t going to move in”

     

    “Oh, no I’m not, maybe spend weekends, you know hang out during summer vacation”

     

    “Sounds like fun, your very own bachelor-ette pad” Bette said wiggling her eye brows

     

    “Oh Stop! It’s not like that, you know how much I love the beach I would actually enjoy time here, besides I plan to live in it one day, you know when I become a big time movie producer, get married and have kids”

     

    “What? Kids, Really? You think about stuff like that? God T, your only 18” Bette said in astonishment

     

    “Yeah, I think about stuff like that, I know I want to settle down one day in the very distant future of course, but yeah…kids, a partner, why not. I would like to have a baby of my own and maybe my partner would have one then I might just adopt another.” Tina smiled at the look of sheer panic on Bette’s face.

    5. I hope Tina tells Bette about how she feels about her. Bette needs someone to love her, her upbringing has made her emotionally distant. Great update, ilm.

    7. Hello iluvmuzic, Good to have Bette opening up a little to Tina. Just as Tina is beginning to realized her own feelings for Bette. These gals have been through so much in their young lives that have changed their outlook and expectations of live and love. I do hope they can each take a chance of love and find each other.     10. Wonder what will make them divulge their love for each other. They both already know that they are falling in love with the other. And they both need that personal intimate love, especially Bette and Tina is the one to give it to her. Great chapter.
