Bette is sitting on her terrace overlooking the ocean in front of her. She drinks her last cup of herbal tea before she calls a cab for the airport. She is all ready to go to LA, her bags are waiting in the hall to be picked up by the cabdriver.

The last couple of weeks have been hectic to get everything ready for the opening of the new exhibition and to plan her trip for her sister’s wedding in LA. But she managed, she is a good planner and as always performs best under pressure. It was also good for her state of mind, it kept her from thinking too much of her little girl.

She knew Kit had been speaking to Tina about Angelica joining the wedding, and they had made arrangements for it. Kit had told Bette she will tell her all about it as soon as she was in LA. She didn’t want to bother her with it as she had enough on her mind with the up coming opening. As if not talking would make Bette not to think about it, it was the only thing she had been thinking about since Kit told her that her little Angel would be there. Every evening when she set alone on her terrace she was day-dreaming of it, and she had taken all the DVD’s to her bedroom so she could watch them in bed before she fell asleep and dreamt of her.

She was so exited to see her that she had made a decision nobody in LA knew about; she had booked a hotel room and booked a flight that was set a week earlier than was planned with Kit. Everybody thought she was arriving in a weeks time.

This had put even more work on her plate but there were things she could do in LA as the hotel room had an internet connection and the flight was also quite long so she had time to read  the documents on the way to LA.

 As her tea was finished, she calls the cab and in the meantime she washes her cup so everything is nice and tidy before she leaves. Beep, Beep, the intercom goes , she replies to the cabdriver to come up. She gets her jacket, her handbag and her keys. When the cabdriver puts her bags in the elevator, she closes the door and locks it, saying to herself ” Angel , mommy is on her way.”
