    Is Bette going to wake up????????

     

    Tina: “Charlot and I needed a place to stay for the night……..while the police went through our apartment”

     

    Melvin: “Ohhh……why is the police involved?”

     

    Tina: “Its a long story Melvin, but Ill tell Bette you called”

     

    Melvin: “Dont bother………Ill be over there in a little while, to  check on my girl. Bye miss Kennard”

     

    Tina: “Bye Melvin”

     

    Tina put Bettes phone down and looked at her daughter, watching cartoons and smiled. She walked back to Bettes bedroom to see, if she was still sleeping. She went in and walked over to Bettes bed, sat down. Bette was still sleeping, but she had moved around. Tina startet gently to stroke Bettes face and put some of her hair behind her ears.

     

    Bette slowly opened her eyes, as Tina continued stroking her face. Tina smiled at the sight of Bette waking up.

     

    Tina: “Hey sleeping beauty”

     

    Bette: (smiling) “Hey yourself………what time is it?”

     

    Tina: “A little after 11 oclock”

     

    Bette: “WHAT…………why didnt you wake me!!!! “(Bette trying to sit up in the bed)

     

    Tina: “Just calm down Bette, let me help you sit up”

     

    Tina helped Bette to sit up in the bed. They were now sitting face to face inches from each other.

     

    Meanwhile Melvin was at the front door of Bettes home. He opened the door with Katies key and went in. The first thing he saw, was Charlot sitting on the couch watching TV.

     

    Charlot: “Hallo……..who are you?”

     

    This took Melvin by surprise and didnt know what to say for a minute or two.

     

    Melvin: “I might say the same thing about you, young lady………where is my daughter?”

     

    Charlot: “I dont know…….who is she?”

     

    Melvin: “She lives here…….and you dont, I take it”

     

    Charlot: “No………..but Bette does”

     

    Melvin: “Ok…….where is Bette then…….and what is your name?”

     

    Charlot: “What is yours?”

     

    Melvin: (surprised) “Ohhhh….my name is Melvin Porter and Im Bettes father”

     

    Charlot: “Ohhhh…..Bettes sleeping in her room……..and my name is Charlot Kennard”

     

    Melvin smiled towards Charlot. He was stunned by the fact, that this little girls was so smart of her age.

     

    Melvin: “Nice to meet you, Charlot……..now can you go and see if Bette is awake?”

    3. hmm is Melvin getting soft. It mihgt do him some good. Maybe it can even help with Bette and Melvins relationship. Altid godt at se et nyt kapitel fra dig trolle. Du må gerne blive ved i lang tid.

    5. Great chapter Trolle, It always amazes my how disarming children can be. Good job with Charlot and Melvin (although I would rather her call him Mr. Porter, she is a child–Respect). Now that Melvin is clear on calling Ms. Kennard Tina lets how this relationship goes. Kit should have known better than to give Melvin her key without calling to warn Bette. This situation couild have went south very quickly. Like I told Tb, we should be paticent and give you time to develop your beautiful story and characters. Good job, please continue and post again soon.
