Nylans House

Shane sat on the couch watching television while she waited impatiently for Nylan to finish getting dressed, she had arrived an hour ago to find Nile not dressed or showered. She had almost forgotten their differences Shane being a get up and go kind of girl and Nylan spent entirely too much time in front of the mirror probably just looking at herself.

Alright Im ready Nile walked down the steps wearing a black and white pinstripe button up shirt, a few buttons undone at the top revealing cleavage and at the bottom showing off a bit of those six pack abs. She had on blue jeans that hugged all her curves and black and white sambas topping off her innovative style with an abundance of studs in her ears and on a belt bearing her name. Nile headed to the bar to fix a drink making one for her and Shane.

We better get going before we get the leftoversyou what Im saying Shane insisted. Nylan quickly downed her drink, grabbed her cellphone my lifeline, and followed Shane out the door.


Milk

Alice and Tina had just arrived both of them had already had one drink and looking forward to the next one or two or three. Kit put on another song and made her way over to Alice and Tinas table.

Hey TinaI just wanted to come over and see how youre doing Bette told me about everything after you left this afternoon I Tina cut her off.

Im fine KitIm just in a state of shock right now tears welled up in her eyes, Kit took her hand and held it firmly, Im herefor the both of you so. Tina nodded in agreement and Kit returned to the DJs booth.

Tina felt a hand on her shoulder and she jumped looking at Alice, who had a smile on her face. Tina turned around to find Shane smiling at her, How are you? she asked. Tina did not reply she just smiled and looked past Shane to see Nylan surrounded by four girls groupiescan she breath please. Nile finished her conversation with the young ladies, only to be pulled onto the dance floor by two of them.

Look Shane she getting a head start on you Alice chimed in watching Nylan grind on one of the girls she was being sandwiched by.

Been there done thatexcuse me them, Al Alice threw her hands up defeated. Shane ordered a round of drinks for the three of them. When the drinks arrived Alice was the first to pick hers up and the first to spit it out at the picture in front of her. Dana walked in with Lara on her arm. Alice her face red with anger as she made her way toward the both of them. A hand curving around her waist and the other twirling her around to come face to face with a smiling Nylan stalled her. She pulled Alice onto the dance floor.

Dance with me Nylan pleaded, Are you serious Im in the middle of something right nowfind one of those ***** to dance with she shouted over the music and turning to walk away before Nylan grabbed her again.

Who the ***** is that on Danas arm Nile asked as she guided Alices hips to her rhythm.

Thats her g spot finding sous chef ex girlfriend Alice gritted her teeth as she spoke, Nylan could not bite back the laughter at Alices expense.


The Table

Tina and Shane looked on with shock as Dana and Lara sat down as if nothing were wrong. Shane was speechless at the sight is Dana turning intome she shook her thoughts away.

Hi Lara broke the silence; Shane and Tina were staring straight at the both of them unable to move. Dana looked away toward the dance floor where she spotted Alice grinding her ***** into Nylans belly. She stood up about to interrupt the dance session; Tina reached for Danas as she dragged onto the dance floor someone has to help these two goofs. Tina and Dana saddled up beside Alice and Nylan.

Can I cut in Tina asked leaving Dana and pushing her and Alice into each others arm. She slid right into Niles grasp. Nylan stood speechless at having to face Tina after all this time, she looked down unable to keep eye contact with her.


The Table

Hi Shane said after moments of silence. Lara looked up confused and not sure, if Shane was talking to her, she realized Shane was talking to her and smiled. She looked away towards the floor seeing Alice and Dana dancing and Tina dancing with Nylan.

Is that Nylan she asked not really sure if her mind was playing tricks on her, Shane nodded, The one and only.

So they both spoke at the same time and then broke out into laughter at themselves.

Hows your lip Tina question looking at Nylan sympathetically, Oh its fine I put some ice on it and its fine she answered stammering from nervousness youre so smooth with any other woman whats wrong now.

Its okay Nylan all is forgotten, we both made a mistake Nylan smiled making Tinas heart flutter a bit as they fell into the comfortable place of being friends again as Tina thought about her last comment is it forgotten?.

Alice and Dana

Both of them had been dancing in silence since switching partners, Alice out of anger and Dana did not know where to begin.

Listen Alwe need to talk but not here okay Alice agreed.

Lets go somewhere else then Dana Dana nodded as she led a reluctant Alice off the floor and towards the table.


The Table

Shane saw Alice and Dana approaching the table and she sat up not knowing what would happen next. Alice picked up her purse and walked towards the door leaving Dana at the table but not before rolling her eyes at Lara.

Were gonna go Dana explained to Lara who shook her head in response as Dana trailed off behind Alice.

Tina and Nile returned to the table, Nylan ordered a drink as she sat down not paying attention to Lara who was staring at her.

UhLara this is my best friend Nylan Nylan shook her hand eagerly thanks Shaneshes cute. Shane saw the look on Niles face and laughed to herself.

Did Alice and Dana leave alreadycouldnt their hormones in check I guess Tina asked.

From the look on Alices face I dont think there will be any of that tonight Shane reassured Tina. Lara nodded in agreement before smiling at Nylan who was thinking about her own hormones at this moment.

Maybe not for them but I think things are looking up for me Nylan said as she looked at Lara who stared at Nile, Excuse me she asked. Shane put her head down in embarrassment and Tina just looked on wondering what would happen next her thoughts were interrupted by a voice that cut like a knife.

Tina Tina turned around to see Bette staring at her. Shane and Nylan looked away from Lara to see Bette both of them surprised to see her.
