A Dylena Story
“If you never want to see me again after, then I’ll leave. I promise you, I’ll leave and be out of your life forever. All I ask is that you just hear what I have to say first.”
A part of me wants to hear her explanation but there’s another part of me that wants to tell her she already gave me one, on that pathetic excuse of a video she left at my gate. As I watched that day the sound of her voice pierced my heart so badly I had to mute most of it out. That pathetic excuse of a videotaped apology or confession or explanation, whatever it was.
Oh, what is wrong with me? I don’t know what I want. I’m so confused right now, I don’t know what I want. I decide to get up and clear the table while contemplating if I should hear her out.
She’s following my every move with her eyes, those eyes that held me captivated so many years ago. I’m drawn to them again, just like I was then. Seeing the tears in her eyes is breaking my heart so much, I have to turn away.
As I turn to put the dishes in the sink I know what my answer will be. I don’t know if I will be able to ever let myself forgive her, but when I search deep down inside myself I know one thing for certain. I know, that if I’m ever going to be able to move on, with her or without her, I need to hear what she has to say.
“This explanation better not be like that piss poor excuse of a video you left a my gate.”
I hear nothing but silence coming from behind me. I stand at the sink and wait. Still nothing, she gives me nothing. I need more wine. I grab the bottle from the counter and turn back to the table to fill my glass. “Would you like some more wine? I’m having another glass, I have a feeling I’m going to need it.”
She’s not looking at me anymore, her head is hanging down towards the floor, her shoulders are slumped and her hands are lying limply in her lap. Shaking her head she says no to the wine.

hmmm ok where to start. Helena- she’s let her wall down slightly and it pains to see her like this. although I’ve never actually lived through a situation like this it still sucks for her. At the moment they are both a mess, Helena needs answers and Dylan needs forgiveness with that they can both move on. With or without each other hopefully together. Can I just say that how IC portrayed them both in s6 was good for the sex scenes but the storyline what was that they deserved more than that. The whole test theory although good in theory was ridiculous and the fact Dylan knew made it worse. Ok so I’m still mad can you tell lol? thanks for the wonderful post made my day watch out for chapter 4 very soon
