    Bette’s happy, they get the keys. Bette tells Tina about her leg… How will Tina react.

    Chapter 86

     

    “My God T” Bette is able to say after a few seconds.

    Tina is slowly walking with the support of two rails she’s holding onto.

    Bette walks up to her. She’s not standing with pressure, she’s holding herself up with her arms, but she’s moving her legs trying to walk.

    “Darren, I can’t hold myself up anymore, my arms are killing me.” Tina says as she looks over at Bette. Darren helps her back into the chair.

    “Well, I guess we’re done for today. I’ll see you again on Monday, and Bette! Keep rubbing those legs, keeps the blood flowing.” Darren says and leaves.

    Bette kneels in front of Tina and put her hands on Tina’s legs with tears in her eyes.

    “T That was amazing, seeing you… Walking It was a beautiful sight.” Bette says softly leaning in for a sweet kiss.

    “Yeah, it felt good. It’s like I see the light in the end of the tunnel, you know.” Tina says and smiles. “Let’s get out of here.” Tina adds as she looks at Bette with a huge smile on her face.

    Bette stands up and grabs the handles on the chair and takes Tina out to the car. She helps her in and put the chair in back and then gets in herself.

    “So, what did the doctor say about your nose?” Tina asks a little worried.

    “T” Bette started, but stopped. She closed her eyes to think a few seconds before she continued.

    “Babe? Is something wrong?” Tina asks, now more worried.

    “Actually I lied to you. My nose is fine. I went to see Dr. Matthews because of my leg.” Bette says and looks over at Tina for her reaction. Tina looks straight ahead for a moment.

    “What’s wrong?” Tina asks looking right into Bette’s eyes. Bette sees that Tina is hurt.

    “It has been hurting this last week. I thought it would go away, but it hasn’t.” Bette replies.

    “Why didn’t you tell me?” Tina asks.

    “I was scared of what it might be. It’s a different kind of pain, from what I have had earlier. I didn’t want to scare you in case it was nothing. I’m going in for a check on Monday, while you are with Darren.” Bette says.

    3. Good chapter, I love the way B&T are working through things and becomming more aware of each other needs without having hurt feelings. It was great that Tina reconized that she could be part of the reason that Bette’s leg is hurting and Bette was aware that Tina (despite what she said) wanted to go in with her to get thier house keys. They are really working much better together. Keep up the good work.

    6. cute, im so glad Bette talked to Tina about the pain they have no need to hide nothing from each other and Tina know that Bette carring her all the time could do that to her knee im happy you said it will be nothing and they will get through that one too, love it post soon thank you L

It’s great how B & T are being more aware of how they can deal with the pressures of their lives…working together through their problems yet still be aware of each other’s feelings and needs. I’m glad Tina realized that she is part of the reason why Bette’s leg hurts. And I’m equally glad that Bette was aware that Tina wanted to go get the keys to their home.
