Chapter 42
They got in the car and headed towards the Porter Valley Country Club.
“So I take it that you don’t mind me being a *****?” Tina asks straight out.
“No, you’ve found love, I think that’s great. I hope I’ll find it too someday.” Jessie says. “I haven’t had too much love in my life, I guess Mr. Davis told you about me?” Jessie asks.
“Yes, he told me.” Tina says.
“I have loved people, but I guess they never loved me back.” Jessie says.
“You’ll find it, whether if its boy or girlfriend or friends, you’ll find it. And they will love you back.” Tina says smiling in a comforting voice.
“Yeah, I hope so.” Jessie replies.
Tina knew just by talking to her this short while that Jessie was a good girl, just needing some guidance in the right direction. She was looking forward to working with her and get to know her a little more. They’ve reached the Country Club.
“So, where do you live?” Tina asks.
“Straight ahead, and to the left in the next crossing.” Jessie gives directions. A few minutes later they pull up in front of a big house. There’s a woman outside playing with two young kids.
“That’s my foster mom, and her kids.” Jessie says.
“Okay, she seems nice.” Tina says.
“She is. She has an eye for art. She was the one who got me interested in photography.” Jessie says.
“Yeah, Cameron told me something like that.” Tina says and smiles.
“You wanna meet her?” Jessie asks.
Tina thought for a second. It would probably be a good idea, since Jessie’s under aged and she’s traveling with her.
“Sure, I would love to.” Tina says and gets out of the car.
The foster mother walks over to them with a baby boy in her arms.
“Hello, I’m Stephanie Carter.” She says and reaches out her hand for Tina to shake.
“Hi, I’m Tina Kennard, nice to meet you.” Tina says.
“She’s the photographer for Golf.com that I’ll be traveling with.” Jessie says to Stephanie.
“Oh, good.” Stephanie replies.
“About tomorrow, I could pick her up, I’m stopping by the Country Club anyway, it’s not a problem.” Tina suggests.
“That would be great, with two small kids in the house, it’s not that easy to get them all ready in time. We’re usually late for everything.” Stephanie says and lets out a little laugh.

awww..i have no words to express how much i love your story..i´m glad that kid will not be a problem and when she is sleeping Tina always can run to Bettes room..lol..and about the kids what can i say? lovely Tina has a great heart and she will be a great mom when the right time come and Bette will be great too and support Tina in everything..ok hope you dont take to long to post again until then i wll be very sad:o( but we will have amazings chapters when you come back good lucky

This way I can see I was right to stay open-mind about her possible part in this story. And now, for me, I have an idea about the possible part of Tina’s protégée in the future : so obviously, our naturally caring Tina want a family with her Bette and Jesse’s fragility and young age seems ideal to increase Tina’s maternal side, more and more…
As always, you know so well how to depict our favorite lovebirds’s tender connection, through a lot of those precious casual details and gestures that are the base of any true and endying love affair (how cute is Tina’s usual “drive carefully !”, for example). Your so sweet race and style make us share this warmth and tenderness behind everything and, god, I love that…
Now, even knowing how busy you will be with all you have to do during this big moving of yours, in waiting of the huge pleasure to read you again later, here’s a totally unselfish wish – for once : fully enjoy your break a LOT !!
