Tina looks at Bette who smiles a little.

During lunch, its Dana who does most of the talking. Both Bette and Tina glance over at each other from time to time. Dana notices that, but she doesnt say anything, she plans on talking to Bette after Tina leaves.

Tinas cell phone rings.

Excuse me Tina says and answers.

Hey Shane, whats up? She asks.

Yeah, I cant now, but Ill try to make it to the Planet by 5, is that okay? Tina asks.

Okay, Ill see you then. Tina says and hangs up.

They finish the lunch, and Tina has to leave.

Thank you for lunch, but I really have to leave, I have a photo shoot in an hour on the other side of town. Tina says and stands up.

Yeah, sure, it was nice talking to you. Hope it wasnt the last time. Dana says.

Yeah it was nice talking to you too. Tina says and smiles to both of them. Of youre ever in West Hollywood, stop by the Planet, I hang out there a lot, its a cool caf. Tina says.

Yeah, I think I have seen that, I live not far from there. Bette replies.

You do? Me too. Tina says and smiles. Stop by sometime. Tina says and then leaves.

Bette watches Tinas every move till shes out of the restaurant.

Well, talk, what did you to talk about when I was in the bathroom? Dana asks.

Nothing much, just where shes from and how long shes been a photographer. Bette replies smiling.

Well, talk. Dana demand.

Shes been a photographer for 4 years and shes from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Bette says.

you know, maybe you should stop by that planet thing sometime, and if shes there ask her out. Dana suggests.
No, I cant do that. Bette replies.

Why not? Dana asks raising her eyebrow.

Im notcomfortable enough with myself to do that. Bette replies.

Oh come on, just asks her for coffee then. Dana says and smiles.

Well see. Bette says. I have to get back to my lessons. Bette says and stands up.

Yeah, me too, Ill talk to you later. Dana says and they leave in opposite directions.

The time until she was suppose to meet Shane at the Planet, all she could think about was Bette Porter. She definitely is developing a crush on her.

Around 5 she walks into the Planet. Shane is waiting at a table.

Hey, TK, how was your day? Shane asks.

Well, I know I definitely is developing a crush on Ms. Bette Porter, I talked to her today, she was at the club with Dana when I dropped off the photos. Tina says.

Wow. Shane replies.

Yeah, I know, but the weird thing is that she seemed nervous with me there, she seemed shy all of a sudden. Tina says.
Well, by the sound of it I think she is developing a crush on you as well. Shane says and smiles.

Oh come on. Tina says and laughs. Shes straight, she was married. Tina continues.

Well, next time you see her, ask her out, or ask her to join you for a cup of coffee. Shane suggests.

Three days later, the Planet:

Tina had been working like crazy the last few days. She stopped by the planet for a quick lunch and to read the morning paper.

She orders her lunch and takes up the paper from her bag. And there on the front page in big black letters

Worlds No. 1 Golfer Bette Porter injured.

Tina gasped No, this couldnt be true. She says to herself. She feels like shes about to cry.
