Can I come see him? Kit asks softly.
Off course. Bette replies.
Thank you. Why arent you over at the hospital now? Kit asks.
Well, Danny is being tested tomorrow. Hes doing a bone marrow test. We thought that we would spend the day with him. We havent been alone with him since this all started. So Sarah is staying with Noah today and during the night. Bette says.
Oh okay. So thats with the ice cream, youre spoiling him today. Kit says and smiles.
Yes, something like that. Bette says and smiles.
Maybe Ill stop by the hospital today then. Kit says.
That would be okay. Noah, would be happy to see his aunty Kit. Bette says and smiles.
Yeah. Kit sighs.
Kit, Im really sorry. Bette says after a few moments of silence.
Its okay. You just focus on getting him well. Kit says and gives Bette a hug. Go be with your family. Kit says. Bette leaves the office and walks back out to the table, where Danny is eating ice cream like never before.
How did it go? Tina asks.
Shes hurt, and I completely understand why. I cant believe I didnt told her, but honestly I didnt think about it at all. All I thought about was being with you and our boys. Bette says and looks into Tinas eyes.
I understand, I didnt think about it either. Its not just your fault. Its both of ours. Tina says and grabs Bettes hand. Bette smiles and looks down on Danny.
You full yet? Bette teases.
He just nods his head from side to side, indicating hes not.
Over at the hospital, Sarah is reading Noah a story from a Winnie the pooh story book. He starts to cry.
Oh honey, whats the matter? Sarah asks and pulls him up.
Mama. He cries.
Theyll be back tomorrow, they are with Danny tonight. Sarah says.
He doesnt stop crying.
Mama. He continues.
Okay, Ill call them, okay, you can talk with them over the phone. Sarah says.
Okay. He replies, still crying.
Sarah picks up her cell phone and dials Tinas number. It rings a few times.
Sarah, is something wrong? Tina asks right away.
No, but this little guy here is crying and asking for mama. I told him that his mommies would come back tomorrow, but he wouldnt hear of it. So I called, maybe you could calm him down over the phone. Sarah says.

Great chapter update. Don’t understand why Kit and Bette don’t get along better now. Thought they were. Anyway great chapter and I do hope both boys are going to be fine after surgery. Thanks for the post.

Hmmmm, I can’t remember…does Kit know about Julia? How could Bette’s memory not be triggered to tell Kit when Tina’s own sister came around or when Tina told her family? Bad Bette! Anyway, nice update – thanks!!

This has got to be hard on Bette and Tina. They know that they need to spend time with Danny but their hearts are with Noah. It is tearing them apart inside. Please Post soon. I need to see what is going to happen. Maybe Julia can help out some more to be near her mom.
