“I think so, somewhere. Do you remember where we put them? Up in the attic?” Tina asks.

“Hmm, maybe. Let’s check it out.” Bette says and stands up and pulls Tina up.

Before they start looking for the mattress Bette takes Tina into a comforting hug.

“I have to call Jessie, I’ve totally forgot.” Tina suddenly says, breaking the embrace.

“Oh yeah, I forgot too. You go and call her, I’ll look for the mattresses.

“Maybe I should tell her to log on to MSN, that way we can see each other.” Tina says and silently walks into the bedroom to get her computer with accessories.

She set it up at the kitchen. Bette went to look for the mattresses.

Tina dials Jessie’s number.

Someone picks up, but it’s not Jessie. Tina can hear loud music in the background.

“Hello?” The voice says.

“Hello, is Jessie there?” Tina asks, almost shouting.

“Oh, sure, hold on, two sec.” The voice says.

Tine hears some shouting in the background and then she hears Jessie’s voice.

“Hello?” Jessie shouts.

“Jessie, it’s Tina.” Tina says.

“Tina, hey, how are you?” Jessie asks.

“Jessie, is there somewhere you can go, some place quiet?” Tina asks seriously.

“Sure. Hold on.” Jessie says. She walks into her room and closes the door. “There, I’m in my room.” Jessie says.

“Good, are you logged on MSN?” Tina asks.

“No.” Jessie replies.

“Could you log on?” Tina asks.

“Okay? Is something wrong?” Jessie asks.

“Yeah. I just want to have you on my screen and for you to be able to see me.” Tina says. Jessie gets a little nervous now. She quickly logs on and accept Tina’s invitation to a video conference.

“Do you see me?” Tina asks.

“Yes, do you see me?” Jessie asks and adjust her camera.

“I do.” Tina says.

“Okay, great. So what’s up?” Jessie asks looking at the screen.

“Jessie, something has happened.” Tina starts in a serious voice.

“What? Is Will and Matt okay?” Jessie asks.

“Yes, they are fine. Jessie, it’s Stephanie.” Tina says.

“To Stephanie? What?” Jessie asks, getting worried.

“Jessie, she was shot.” Tina says as she gets tears in her eyes again. She hurries and wipes them away.

“Oh my God, is she Is she alive?” Jessie asks as she’s starting to cry.
