Chapter 126 Two weeks later: Tina had now really started to loose her hair. She lay in bed, next to Bette who was asleep. She had been to chemo yesterday and didn’t have the energy to get out of bed. And she also gets dizzy when she stands up. It was early in the morning. Bette had taken a day off from work today, to stay home with Tina. Tina has to go to the bathroom so she’s trying to wake Bette. “Babe?” She says as she taps her shoulder. “Mmmm.” Bette replies. “I need to go to the bathroom, could you help me?” Tina asks. “Sure, just give me one second to wake up.” Bette says as she stretches out and yawns a few times and then opens her eyes. “Okay, let’s go.” Bette says as she stands up, put on her robe, grab Tina’s and walk over to Tina’s side to help her up. She then help Tina into the robe. She leans in for a soft good morning kiss. She hold Tina up all the way to the bathroom. Bette is about to leave, when Tina stops her. “Please stay.” She says. Bette turns around and smiles at Tina. “Sure.” Bette says. Tina did her toilet thing and placed herself in front of the mirror. She’s looking at herself. Bette is watching her from the side. A single tear escapes Tina’s eyes. Bette put her arm around Tina, gently rubbing her back. “Would you cut my hair?” Tina asks all of a sudden and looks at Bette through the mirror. “Are you sure you want to cut it off?” Bette asks. “Yeah, it’s falling off anyway.” Tina replies. “Okay, wait here.” Bette says and walks out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to get the scissor. She stays a few seconds in the kitchen to get back her composure. She takes a deep breath and wipes away the tears that has found it’s way down her cheek. “Babe?” Tina calls from the bathroom. “Yeah, I’ll be right in.” Bette replies. She takes another breath and walks back in. “Babe, are you okay?” Tina asks. “Yeah.” Bette says and grabs the chair they have in the bathroom and places it in front of her for Tina to sit down in. “Take a seat my beautiful wife.” Bette says and smiles.
