“Thank you Bette.” Maxine says.
“I never meant for it to be like this mom.” Bette says, getting a little emotional.
“This is not because of you Bette, I did this by hurting Tina and you.” Maxine says.
“Well, I’m glad we worked it out.” Bette says and smiles into the phone.
“I am too.” Maxine says.
“Do you have time now to come over to the club?” Bette asks.
“Yes, I could be there in 40 minutes.” Maxine says.
“Great, I’ll see you then.” Bette says and hangs up.
At home Tina is cleaning and doing laundry. She likes doing it, and she likes the time alone. It gives her time to think and reflect on her life and how it has turned out. She smiles to herself as she picks up dirty clothes from the bedroom.
Back at the club, Bette’s cell phone rings.
“Bette.” She answers.
“Hello Bette, it’s Martin.” He says.
“Oh, hi Martin, what can I do for you?” Bette asks.
“Well, I know that you haven’t started yet but, we need you out in the field right away. There is a junior tournament in
“Okay, what do I have to do?” Bette says.
“Well, you have to be at those tournaments to check out new talents, and to follow-up the ones that are already with us.” Martin says.
“Okay, how long will I be gone for?” Bette asks.
“Well, the first tournament starts in three days and lasts for 3 days, then there is straight to
“Wow, that long.” Bette says.
“Yeah, I’m sorry to through it at you this early.” Martin says.
“Oh, it’s okay. It’s part of the job, guess I should get used to it, right?” She asks and smiles.
“Yeah. Though it won’t be a lot of travelling, there will be some.” Martin says.
“Yes.” Bette says.
“The tickets are already ordered, you’ll get them tomorrow.” Martin says.
“Okay, I’ll see you then.” Bette says and hangs up.
‘Wow, almost two week away from Tina. How will I tell her that without hurting her?’ Bette thinks to herself.

humm..i dont know but i dont think Bette choose the right job cuz she still have the same “travel life” she should have a job in town she dosent even started and will be out for 2 weeks..thats for sure will be a test for them..im glad Bette and her mom are ok again..cant wait for more thanks Lauren :o)
hey i love your story! its nice to see them happy and all but i miss some of the drama though..and where is Jessie, William ?? i miss him with Bette lol. I wonder how Bette will feel teaching golf and not playing. Post soon :)
Lauren…great chapter. It seems that Bette’s a little concerned about being away from Tina for 2 weeks. It does seem soon considering Martin said there wouldn’t be much traveling in the beginning. Anyway, as long as Bette is with Tina when the baby comes…that’s most important.
