Karen exits the room and out the front door…Bette turns to Tina and says…

Bette: “you wanna play uno?”

Tina: “sure”

The brunette went into the dresser drawer and retrieved the uno cards…we walked over to Tina and pulled ouf the chair from behind her desk…and sat down…Tina moved closer to the desk as the brunette turned on her over head light…she takes the cards out the box and shuffles them…

Tina takes this moment to look around her room…hmm…she thought…she’s a very neat and organized person…very clean….she has all types of women products resting on her dresser…wow…she has idols….there were all types of artists posters on her walls…oh and she has this cute little rainbow flag…hmm…I wonder what that means…she looks over at her….

Tina: “what kind of flag is that?”

Bette looks over at Tina and says…

Bette: ” it’s a ***** flag”

Tina almost chokes on her own spit…

Tina: “I’m sorry could you repeat that?”

Bette: “I believe you heard me the first time…”

Tina smiles and looks down…Bette says…

Bette: “what?…now you don’t wanna hang out?”

Tina: “no…it’s fine…really…I just never thought that you were into woman…I didn’t see any signals or what not”

Bette: “so…now that you know…does that change your perception of me?”

Bette looks at the blond…Tina lifts her head and says…

Tina: “no…I still feel the same for you”

Bette: “okay…cut…”

Yale University: one hour later…

Karen came home on time as promised…instead of coming alone…she came with two people….she went to Bette’s door and knocked…she said…

Bette: “come in”

Karen opened the door and went inside…

Karen: “hey”

Bette: “hey…she’s asleep”

Karen: “good…”

she lifts the tank and brings it into her room…she returns moments later….

Karen: “hey Bette…I have some friend’s I want you to meet”

Bette stands and so does Tina…the two head out into the livingroom…Karen says…

Karen: “Shane…Alice this is my roommate Bette and her friend-”

Tina steps forward cutting Bette’s roommate off saying

Tina: “Tina…hi…it’s nice to meet you

Shane: “the same’s here”

Alice: “hey”

Bette: “hello”

Karen turns and faces them…she says…

Karen: “tonight Shane’s throwing a party…you two wanna go?”

Bette: “count me out…school’s tomorrow and I need as much sleep as possible…”

Tina: “I agree…I have a 8:30 class tomorrow…I’m sorry you guys…”

Shane: “no sweat…you gotta get your rest in order to study…so it’s totally understandable”

Alice: “yeah…there’s always Friday night”

Karen: “okay…well don’t wait up”

Bette nods her head up and down…Karen and the other women head out the door…Bette turns to Tina…she says…

Tina: “I think I’m gonna go”

Tina walks towards the door…Bette says…

Bette: “hey…maybe we can walk to class together tomorrow”

Tina smiles and says…

Tina: “sure…I’d love that…”

she exits the house and up the stairs…Bette turns and heads back to her bedroom…
