    Post Christmas Bliss or Blues?

    Bette and Tina have a restful evening. Both were exhausted from the past few days activities and emotions; they slept a long time and even Angelica slept in today. Bette was the first to wake and headed in for her shower. While getting dressed she hears Angelica over the monitor and goes to check on her. Angelica was up in a flash and excited holding the side of the crib ready to start the day with her Momma.

    Bette: Well you are really good for your Momma’s ego baby girl. Good morning to you too, you make me feel like a celebrity.

    Angelica: Up!

    Bette greets the baby with a big kiss and lifts her out of the crib. Angelica returns the kiss with a bit more drool than Bette’s. Bette immediately strips Angelica down and they head to the bathroom to start their morning routine: bath, change and breakfast. Bette puts Boo in her high chair with her new animal sound toy and half a banana and starts to cook breakfast. Pancake for Angelia, Beligan waffles with fresh fruit for the Moms. She also decided to poach the last two eggs for them as well.

    Tina: Well good morning you two.

    Angelica: Look Mommy.

    Bette: Morning T, breakfast is just about ready, are you hungry?

    Tina: After yesterday I should be ashamed to admit it, but yes I am hungry.

    Bette: Well, I just going to fry up some bacon to go with our waffles and poached eggs so grab some juice or coffee and have a seat.

    Tina: How about I grab you and a good morning kiss first?

    Bette: By all means, grab away.

    The mothers embrace and share a sweet good morning kiss.

    Tina: You want some juice babe?

    Bette: No, I’m going to stick with coffee and the fresh fruit.

    Tina pours herself a small glass of orange juice and makes a cup of apple juice for Angelica. Bette had made the pancake in a Mickey shape, they’d bought the guide at Disneyland.

    Angelica: Mouse!

    Tina: Yes, your Momma is full of surprises baby girl, what a pretty pancake.

    Bette fixes plates for both she and Tina and joins them at the table.

    Tina: Thanks Bette, this looks awesome. How did you sleep last night?

    1. I’ve been away from commenting for a bit… wow. My friend, you floored me. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and it did. Poor Bette. I’m glad they talked things over too. I have to say, I would have FREAKED out if I had been Bette and seen T walking out of that studio with Josh. I think that would have pushed me out of that relationship for sure, but it was nice to see that Bette is more committed to them than to run away. Thanks, hun! PPS!

    2. OMG Lwsho, I love it when you get inspired….20 pages worth!!!! That was excellent…I was totally enthralled throughout. It’s funny, I was thinking about half way through, that if you wanted to add drama you could have Josh run into Tina and Bette…and then damn if you didn’t. Can’t wait for the next installment!
