Kit and Angelica arrive at the Planet and the girls are all there to greet them: Alice, Shane, Carmen, Tasha and Helena.
Alice: Oh my god she’s so cute.
Carmen: Bette’s given our baby a little New York style.
Tasha: Yea, my shoes definitely weren’t that cute at 1 years old.
Shane: Well, she is PJ, what do you expect?
Helena: She is quite the little bundle.
The aunts all take turns holding the baby and she seems to have a story for each one of them. Kit has them fix her a veggie plate and wants to see what she’ll eat. She’s surprised that she ate just about everything: carrots, potatoes, squash, green beans. Kit can’t believe the changes in her appetite. She remembers Bette saying how Angelica liked the peach smoothie at Disneyland and had a small one made for dessert to take home.
Kit: Well, I’m going to get this one home for some one on one playtime and a bath.
Alice: We get to take her to the mall tomorrow though, right?
Shane: Yea, she’s gotta ride the little train.
Carmen: And the merry go round.
Kit: Yes, I have to work so you ladies can take her to the mall after breakfast. No junk food, Tina will kill us.
Alice: Oh, I can take on TK.
Tasha: You’e got lot of mouth when she’s not around.
Alice: Well, my girlfriend protects and serves, so TK can’t do too much to me.
Tasha: Oh, my radio will breakdown when that call goes out.
The girls laugh and Angelica joins in oblivious to the actual conversation, but always able to add some sunshine to the day. Kit sticks to her plan and gets Boo home, bathed and they have some play time. Kit’s special time with Angelica usually includes some singing. She rarely sings anymore, but she feels safe and motivated with her baby girl. Tonight they did a couple of fun songs: Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer. The finale was Joy to the World as she knew that Angelica’s birth has bought joy to so many. Kit and Angelica fell asleep cuddled up in Kit’s bed.
Meanwhile Bette and Tina had a rather traffic snarl free trip down to Coronado to their hotel. It was slightly south of San Diego. They were together again so time flew by as they caught up again.

Hard to see them crying but it is the way to heal an fight their demons. Tina needs to constantly show her love to Bette as that might help Bette gain her trust in Tina’s love back.

Wondered when and if that would happen. Glad it is now out in the open and dealt with. Tina doesn’t need the perfect gift for Bette, just the love and faith to Bette that she is her forever love, and no one else. Tina just needs to woo Bette and her way back into Bette’s heart. I loved it Lwsho! You know, I don’t think it is a matter of Bette “forgiving” Tina, I think that she already has. Bette has to learn to trust Tina again as Tina had to learn to trust Bette again after her indescretion. Neither of them are perfect or without fault in the demise of their relationship and they both know it. I think what they are doing, the talking, not running away, meeting everything head on is the way they both will find their way back to each other. This is Bette and Tina “earning” each other’s trust again. Waiting for the next post again!
This is my first time making comments on your story, thanks for your fanfic, I like it because it shows more understanding on Bette’s feelings and behaviours. A unique empathetic view for Bette and it is different from many other fanfics.

at least no one ran… they talked it out no matter how painful it was… and buying the “PERFECT” gift is not the answer… bette needs to feel her love… no “GIFT” will show her that… tina has the heart to give her… thats what bette wants… great job… pps

Tina does have her work cut out for her. Bette’s nightmares are very painful. Tina needs to convince Bette that she is not using her and going to leave her again. AWESOME post.
Wow, they still have a lot to wrk through. Yeah Tina needs to step up her game. But Bette has to forgive on her own and know that she is enough.

Great chapter. I don’t like it when Bette has to suffer but it were more than unrealistic if there were only a smooth path back. In moments like this where Bette can’t cover her feelings or even try to only show a bearable part of the pain she felt will bring them forward more quickly to fully trust each other and get over the hurt. PPS Thanks
