She wished someone was there to rub her feet. They were absolutely killing her, but that was ok she was alone. She understood. She closed her eyes and tried to relax while her dinner cooled off enough for it to actually be edible. In the process of waiting she drifted off to sleep. Being pregnant had her constantly exhausted, but she wasn’t willing to take a break from work.

Ashley walked into a silent house and turned a few lights on. She couldn’t stand being in the dark. She was used to being greeted at the door by her spouse. She assumed she was the first one home for once. She felt a little excited, because she had been dying to be the one to cook for once. She loved to pamper her loved one as often as she could.

She walked into the kitchen and looked around to see dinner had already been set on the table. She sighed at the loss of her chance to make dinner, but she was also confused at why she wasn’t greeted at the door like she was every night.

She entered the den and turned the lights on to see a sleeping figure on the couch. She smiled and waddled over to the sleeping blonde. She pulled a small velvet box out of her pocket and got down on one knee in front of the couch. She smiled at how corny she was about to be, but she didn’t care, because she knew it would make her blonde immensely happy.

Spencer’s eyes fluttered open to meet those familiar brown eyes looking down at her. Spencer smiled and slowly sat up as she rubbed her eyes until her vision was acceptable. She yawned and stretched while looking at her wives gentle face.

She felt warm hands wrap around hers and her wife was all smiles.

"I missed you, Ash."

"I missed you too, Spence. I have something for you."

"Yeah?"

Spencer watched as Ashley slowly opened the box and she pulled a ring out of it. The shorter girl slid the ring onto her wives empty ring finger. Spencer’s face lit up as she examined the ring.

"Will you marry me?"

"You goof. I already married you 3 years ago."
