Ashley: “You just got here. I didn’t know you had friends yet.”
Kyla: “ I met her at your show last night once Aiden left.”

Spencer: “Why can’t I help?”
Ashley: “It’s bad enough you woke up early and ruined the surprise. The least you can do is still let me cook for you.”

She shot me a playful look.

Spencer: “What surprise?”
Ashley: “How can I wake you up for breakfast in bed if you wake up while I’m still making the breakfast?”
Spencer: “Awe!!! Ashley. You are so adorable. I’m SOOOO sorry I ruined your surprise.”

I said it in a rather mocking tone, but it got a smile out of her. I ran over to her and gave her a kiss. It lasted longer than it should have considering we had other people in the room, but when I’m with Ashley I don’t always remember that we aren’t alone.

Veronica: “Breakfast in bed. That is really sweet!”

That was the first thing she said all morning. Maybe she was just out of it like Kyla.

Spencer: “Yeah, Ashley is a closet romantic.”
Ashley: “Spencer!”
Spencer: “I won’t tell nobody else.”

We all laughed.

Veronica: “Tell me you didn’t just quote the movie Friday?”
Spencer: “Yeah, my brother watches it all the time. I kind of can’t help but pick up on a few lines here and there.”
Veronica: “I love that movie. I could quote it al day long”

Ashley never was the shy type. I could tell she was getting a little jealous at the fact that I was getting along with this new girl. So, she of course brings up something most people wouldn’t. I love her protective side.

Ashley: “So, Kyla. You never told me you liked sleeping with girls.”
Kyla: “It never got brought up.”
Ashley: “Spencer and I pretty much have a parade for our love every day and you say being gay never got brought up.”
Kyla: “You never asked me if I was gay. All you did was ask if I was seeing someone. I told you no. Which, wasn’t a lie I didn’t have a girlfriend back home.”
Ashley: “So, I’m asking now. What are you? Gay, bi, experimenting?”
Kyla: “I can’t help it. I just love the ladies. And they love me.”
Spencer: “Ok, so being a hot, conceited, lesbian must run in the family.”
Ashley: “Ok, you did NOT just call my sister hot.”
Kyla: “Why, thank you Spencer. You are hot as well.”
Ashley: “Why don’t you hot girls just go get a room?”

We all laughed as Kyla stood up and grabbed my hand leading me up the stairs.

Ashley: “HEY! Get back here with my girl.”

Ashley ran after us and tackled us on the stair. This new girl had to think we were all crazy, but we couldn’t stop laughing.

 Veronica’s Pov

They all looked like they were so close to each other. I don’t really know Kyla’s story yet, but I would love to learn more about her. And her friends and family. I don’t know why her sister didn’t know she was gay, but I’ll figure that out later. For now I have to get to work.

I walked over to the pile of girls on the stairs and they immediately grew silent.

Veronica: “I’ve got to leave for work now.”

Kyla stood up and grabbed my hand.

Kyla: “You can’t stay for breakfast?”
Veronica: “I would love to, but I really can’t be late.”
Kyla: “Are you SURE we aren’t scaring you off?”
Veronica: “Oh, no. You guys are great.”
Kyla: “Where do you work?”

Oh, crap. I hate when people ask me this.

 Veronica: “um, I, uh,… I work … with children.”
Kyla; “Awe! So, you like kids?”
Veronica: “Yeah, sure, but I have to go now. I‘ll call you later.”
Kyla: “Ok, bye”

She smiled at me. She had gorgeous brown eyes. I could already tell this was going to b my weakness and she could get anything she wanted by simply looking at me. I leaned in and gave her a lingering good bye kiss and then I left their mansion. I was shocked by the size of the place when I first got here, but I wasn’t interested in Kyla for her money. And I normally didn’t do one night stands. There was just something about Kyla that made me want more and more of her.
