I was surprised Kyla did that. I never had someone to watch out for me like that. It was nice. I know Spencer watches out for me, but it’d different to have family do it. I wasn’t used to it, but I really did like it.

I loved spending time with Kyla and Spencer. I think that’s the time when I was the happiest, but of course Aiden had to come over and ruin it.

Aiden: “Hey, why did you guys leave the party so early.”
Ashley: “Spencer was passing out, so I put her to bed at my house.”
Aiden: “I’m sure you did.”

I shot him an evil look. He knows I am into girls, but I didn’t want him to think Spencer was. He sat down and turned his attention to Kyla.

Aiden: “ You really should have been there.”
Kyla: “I’ll be sure to make it to the next one. I was just telling Ashley and Spencer how there needs to be a party soon. Know of anything?”

Before he could answer I shot out an answer to the question that wasn’t directed toward me.

Ashley: “I totally forgot. I have a gig this weekend at Grey. You can get your drink on while we are there.”
Spencer: “Oh my gosh, Ash. Why didn’t you tell me?”
Ashley: “ Kat called me last night and told me she really needed some entertainment for Friday night. She knows I play so she wanted me to go on. I couldn’t resist, so I go on Friday at 8:30”
Kyla: “ What exactly will you be doing?”
Ashley: “Playing guitar and singing.”
Kyla: “So, it runs in the family. I had no idea you made music.”
Ashley: “Yep, so you will be there?”
Kyla: “Of course. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
Spencer: “I flat out refuse to drink anything while I am there.”
Ashley: “I wont take my eyes off of you the whole time we are there… just don’t sit your drink down and you will be ok.”
Spencer: “As long as you are there I’m sure I’ll be fine.”

Aiden’s Pov

It’s official. Those two have to be a couple. I obviously don’t stand a chance, so maybe I can try to get with Kyla. Unless being gay also runs in the family.

Aiden: “ So, Kyla. Since those two seem to be going together would you mind being my date?”
Kyla: “Um, sure why not?”
Aiden: “Alright. I’ll pick you up at 7:30, unless you want to meet there.”
Kyla: “Oh, no no no. I can’t drive. You can just pick me up.”

Everyone laughed at her.

Ashley: “ What do you mean you cant drive?”
Kyla: “I never had to learn. I always took a cab when I was home.”
Ashley: “ Well, when you do learn you can always hit up daddy dearest for a brand new Lotus. Just like I did.”
Kyla: “ I would feel bad, I never even met him. I don’t really care about the money. I’m just glad I got to know you.”
Ashley: “ Awe, how sweeeet and heart warming and You are soooooo getting a new car. Like he needs all that money.”

I was tired of just sitting around and listening to girl talk.

Aiden: “ I could teach you to drive.”
Kyla: “ I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to kill us in the process.”
Aiden: “ Nah, you would be fine. What do you say?”
Kyla: “ Sure. It’s your funeral.”
