Waste My Time Without; – (Chapter: People change, that's life)
My eyes winced on instict. "That looked like it hurt" she said, and we both let out slight chuckles, upon realizing Aiden was ok after a typical day’s motocross stunt. I turned to her; wow, green eyes. I must have been staring. "What?" she asked, becoming self-concious, though according to her, that wasn’t something she did.
I shook my head, and earned a playful nudge in the hip. "You’ve got something in your teeth" I lie, and don’t tell her I can’t stop staring at her, compliments of her beauty. She grinned exposing all teeth, and through clench ones, asked "Which one?" though I heard ‘wish un’. "Ok, there’s nothing in your pearls, I was just staring" I told the truth.
I could tell she was contemplating whether or not to hit me, but once the hidden compliment’s meaning sunk in, she craned her neck to kiss me. I felt her top lip, on my bottom, and like usual, my tongue’s excitement couldn’t be contained. They pressed against her sweet lips, and before she could allow me entrance, or be a tease, I was interupted with a vibrating sensation on my upper right thigh. I sighed before reluctantly moving away from my darling’s weapon. She smiled at my frustration, and played with my hair, while I delved into my pockets for my cell.
I stroked her hair when she leaned her head onto my lap, while I converesed with my sister. "No Kyla" she muttered something about this deal being a sure thing, and how I would regret it, and blah, blah, blah. "We’ll talk about this later…" I looked down to her, and it seemed she was falling asleep, it was easy to block out Kyla, hell, easy to block out anyone if I was looking at her. "Look, I gotta go, bye" I hung up without waiting for her response.
Hearing footsteps made me tilt my head up, to a sweaty Aiden, still in his logo-covered helmet. I laughed, and he knew why. "What can I say, sponsors ‘see major potential in today’s Aiden Dennison’." He held his hands in quotation marks, and I knew he wasn’t being arrogant, I’d been right there when he was signing his contract. For companies who cared, and companies who were full of shit, both kept their word on pay though, so I guess I was fine with it. "So what about you superstar?" he’d called me that ever since they’d put that stupid fucking billboard picture of me at a shoot up, under the heading of "Maybe she’s just got it? Or maybe she’s a Davies".
I shook my head at him, letting him know to expect some cracks later, when he was around his latest groupy. "Not much" and I again had to look down for sheer pleasure of seeing her, even if those lids were closed, and I couldn’t see my favorite part of her face. "Someone’s in love again" I smiled knowing he knew me so well, to see I was falling for her. But then had my beem, replaced with a grimace, when I became aware of his last word ‘again’. He realized, right after I realized, that he’d made a mistake, and in true Aiden-fashion, opened his mouth to aplogize, then walked off quickly. I was thankful, he knew to let me think.
She stirred, but I was confident she hadn’t heard Aiden’s remark, or my lack of an audible response. "Quick nap?" she nodded, and moved up to snuggle into me now, opposed to my thighs. I put my arm around her waist, and let her fully sink into me. Then by habit, I pulled out a ciggarette, and placed it between my lips, only to have her, in less than three seconds, grab it, snap it in half, and toss both pieces in different directions.
Starring with my mouth wide open, she held out her hand, and I knew. I rolled my eyes, but dug into my back pocket for my pack of cigs. "You said you’d stop…" I could hear the dissapointment. "Well, I lied" I said in a serious voice, looking up at the sky. I could feel her stare, disgusted and confused as to why I’d said that. I turned to her with a playful smile "What, don’t like kissing an ashtray?". She returned the playful smile, "No, I just like kissing Ash"
