    “Alright before I cook for my beautiful girlfriend her birthday dinner, I have one more thing I have to give you, babe,” Ashley began.

    “You’ve done enough for me today,” I responded with a laugh.

    “It’s more of a gift to make your sixteenth birthday official,” explained Ashley as she revealed a tiara. She put the tiara on my head. You are only able to wear the tiara once a year on your birthday. With that said, I officially make you Spencer Carlin birthday princess until midnight tonight.

    “Awesome,” I commented. I am royalty for a couple of hours now.

    “You always are royalty to me,” pointed out Ashley.

    “Thanks, you are royalty to me, too,” I smiled.

    Later on, Ashley handed me a plate of pasta. “Here is the pasta for my lovely birthday lady,” Ashley stated with a smile.

    “Thank you,” I responded.

    “No problem, it is your day after all, baby,” said Ashley with a smile. I also baked a birthday cake for my number one girl. Ashley kissed me softly on my lips. I intensified the kiss. Ashley stopped the kiss. Now that our lips are warmed up, we can begin to eat. I chuckled.

    “You have made my day so much better,” I began. I haven’t had a good day like this for awhile now. You really are one of a kind.

    “So are you,” agreed Ashley. I am glad I can be of help. I hate seeing you miserable with everything that has been going on lately. It breaks my heart. I know it sounds crazy, but I feel what you feel.

    “I know what you mean,” I responded. It doesn’t sound crazy. It makes perfect sense to me. I feel like we are connected, too.

    “You hold the key to my heart, Spencer Carlin,” said Ashley sweetly.

    “Likewise,” I replied. We began to eat. After we ate dinner, Ashley cleared out the plates to bring out my birthday cake. Thank you again for today.

    “You’re welcome,” said Ashley.

    “You always brighten up my day and my world, Ash,” I stated. A smile formed on Ashley’s lips and I returned the smile.

    “You always brighten up my world as well as day,” responded Ashley as she put the candle on top of my cake. Ashley lit the candle. Make a wish and blow out the candle, babe.
