Ashley rolled her eyes. No doubt ‘a few things’ meant Aiden had been pestering Glen non-stop for days. Normally she’d laugh at the situation and let Aiden blunder his way out of it, but she was feeling sympathetic right now. It was no fun being ignored by your best friend.

Idly, she twisted the bracelet on her left wrist, reading the words in the bracelet, ‘Every time we kissed, I fall in love again’; it was a gift from Spencer on their 1 year anniversary.

"Look, why don’t I take Spencer and Clay out this weekend? We’ll hang out at Gray and get them out of Glen’s hair." And maybe having them around would give Glen some alone time to think of his and Aiden problem.

Aiden’s face lit up like a Christmas tree. "I looooooooooooove you girl!!!"

Ashley stopped Aiden with a finger before he could hug her. "Now, wait a second, horn-dog. You’re forgetting that Glen’s mad at you. So, if you want to get anywhere with him, you need to step things up a notch."

Aiden fell back in his chair with a look of confusion on his face.

"Here’s what we do." Ashley lowered her voice as she leaned across the table and outlined her plan.

The doorbell rang and Glen sighed in relief. He was more than happy to be able to be alone, he really need some alone time to think about his relationship with Aiden, is he ready to give himself to Aiden yet?

With a smile on his face, he let Ashley in. "I can’t tell you how happy I am that you’re taking them out."

"My pleasure," Ashley smiled, hugging him loosely before stepping into the apartment.

"Spencer! Clay!"

Spencer and Clay walked into the living room as soon as Glen called, almost knocking Glen over while Spencer rushed into Ashley arms.

Ashley smiled, give Spencer a peck on the lips and give Clay a hug after she released Spencer. ‘She makes a great girlfriend,’ Glen thought, ‘I wonder why can’t Aiden be like her. Sensitive, sweet and loving. All he cares is sex, can’t he understand that I’m not ready to give myself to him yet…’ he was interrupted by Spencer.

"Is something wrong?" Spencer asked with concern written all over her face. She’s really worried about Glen ever since he told her that Aiden has been nagging him non-stop about having sex. She knows what it feels like to have sex with someone you love for the first time and she think Aiden had gone pushed too far this time.
