Spencer knew it was going to be a fuss when they got there because Ashley was home and she has never been crazy about her bringing just anybody that she "meets on the street" to their apartment. Ashley, whom wasn’t always in the best of moods these days, will not be happy but Spencer will convince her otherwise. Then she glanced at her watch and realized that Ashley was gone until the morning rehearsing and filming her video. So then she had almost a half of a day to prepare for the argument.

Kyla was worried that Spencer seemed different in just that short of time. She always thought that she and Ashley had the perfect relationship after her mom accepted them as a couple. Well she decided that she was not going to judge either of them, they are adults after all. She dropped them off at Spencer’s and told them she would pick them up at 7pm and to be ready to go. Once they were inside Spencer showed Jodie around the loft. "This is really nice Spencer, especially the view", as she stood in front of the window overlooking the big city. Spencer replied, with a smile as she was watching Jodie walk around, "Thanks, I am going to get ready first, I will be in the shower then you can go in". Jodie had a pain in her stomach and she knew that it was butterflies, the thought of Spencer in the shower made her hot. "Okay I will sit here on the couch and get my things ready" she said looking down not wanting to meet Spencer’s eyes.

Once Spencer was gone, Jodie sat down and wondered why her palms were sweaty; she knew she was taken with the sight of Spencer. A beautiful, young, athletic woman whom was now going to be in her life she hoped for a long time. She listened as the shower started and heard her singing "Can’t Fight This Feeling" and hoped it was cause of her. She got her clothes out and smoothed them out; once that was done she sat down again and listened to Spencer singing. Thinking how come she doesn’t sing with Ashley cause she could do well. Jodie closed her eyes and just rested for a few minutes so that her heart would calm down.

Spencer did not care if Jodie was in the next room, she had to sing this song because it was how she was feeling, so many emotions in such a short time. She finished her shower and got out but she was still singing to the roof tops. She grabbed her robe and walked out the door, and saw Jodie with her head resting on the back of the sofa; she had drifted off to sleep to her singing. She walked over behind her and bent over as the water dripped from her hair onto Jodie’s face and whispered in her ear, "Okay now you can have a shower baby". Spencer did not even realize that she called Jodie, "baby" she could not believe it, she did not want her to think she was hitting on her, it was her secret crush or so she thought.

Jodie sat up and was alert to Spencer’s presence and just smiled to herself when she was called "Baby". "Oh, okay thanks I was just napping for a few minutes, I have a question though?" .Oh no, she is going to ask why I called her ‘baby’, do not panic just smile and "what is that?" Spencer replied. "I do not understand why you are not singing with Ashley, you have a beautiful voice as she smiled at her." Jodie commented.

"Oh, well that has always been Ashley’s thing not mine I enjoy making movies, videos things like that" she said as she was stumbling over her words not knowing how to act with such a beautiful woman giving her a compliment. Starting to feel undressed she hurried into her bedroom to get dressed for the interesting evening she knew they would have.
