The One Who Changed My World – (Chapter: 3)

She was always the life of the party, always cracking a joke; always trying something new even if she was convinced already that she’d hate it. That’s why she read the books I recommended after telling me for weeks that she’d hate it; that’s why she tried sushi even though she was repulsed by the idea of it; and that’s why she’d go to the mall with me even when she was exhausted and simply wanted to nap. She simply could not pass up an opportunity to live her life. And I could not escape the burning desire to be with her that was growing ever more desperate each day, so much that it made me find my own passion that I had been searching so long for. She was my passion. Spencer Carlin was my passion.

Thursday was here again and I still can’t get Spencer off of my mind. Lately though, she has been so touchy feely with me. I can’t stand it. She’s knows I’m gay now, what is she like playing with my emotions? She always links arms with me when we go to class and brushes against me when I know there’s no need to. It’s possible that I’m reading into it a little too much, but I guess that happens when you’re desperately yearning for someone. And it was safe to say I was at that point with Spencer. She has easily become my infatuation.

Anyways, I just walked into Aiden’s place with the ice cream and they are all already here, and they picked out some scary movie that’s probably got more blood than scare tactics. I don’t say much, just get the ice cream and take my usual spot next to Spencer.

It’s about half way through the movie and so far it’s okay. Not that scary if you ask me, I’ve already seen it. But I can tell Spencer thinks it is from her face. I can’t help it; I keep stealing glances at her. Her features are so soft, I just want to reach out and touch her, run my thumb along that perfect skin on her cheek. I hear a scream on the TV and it must have scared her because she just moved a lot closer to me. Her legs are curled up underneath her as she is sitting up, leaning into me. I don’t move, but I can feel my body tense up. I am having a little difficulty breathing but I hold it together so she won’t move.
