The Grown Up Years – (Chapter: Chapter 3: Ashley in the Dog House)
I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I’m pretty sure this was the first time I hadn’t been up before noon in months. But today was the big day. It was MOVING DAY!!! I jumped on the bed doing my best to wake up Spencer in the most annoying way possible.
“Baby you have to wake up, we’re moving today,” I yelled at the top of my lungs.
“Ashhh. It’s seven in the morning and the movers aren’t even gonna show up till nine. So go back to sleep,” Spencer mumbled through her pillow.
“Baby please wake up,” I said straddling her, “We can start packing some of the smaller boxes into the Land Rover.”
“Fine, but you’re lifting all the heavy boxes,” she said as she slumped out of bed and into the bathroom.
“Thank you Spence,” I said as I placed a small kiss on her head.
I was nearly at a jog down the stairs to start taking boxes to the car. Now I’m sure a lot of you are wondering, why the hell is Ashley so damn excited to move? Well, the answer is because the sooner we move and get settled the sooner I can talk to Spencer about having kids. Duh.
Before I started taking boxes down to the car, I decided to liquidate threw the last few items we hadn’t packed yet. It all looked like bunch of junk; there was this weird green colored box full of papers. I figured there’s no point in keeping any of this crap, so I just threw it all down the garbage shoot.
After making enough trips to exhaust me I finally heard the door bell ring letting me know the movers had finally arrived. Now we could really get down to work.
The movers were surprisingly very efficient. Within six hours we were completely moved into our house. Sure, everything was all jumbled up, nothing was in its place, and Spencer was about to have a OCD attack from everything being so out of order but other than that everything was there and accounted for.
I could tell Spencer was very surprised by my determination to get all moved in. While she lounged around on the couch I was running around like a mad woman trying to put everything in its place. Now I’m not stupid. I know getting completely moved in is going to take awhile, but I just wanted to try and speed up the process as much as I could.

this is why you cant throw things out all willy nilly
It’s sweet that Spence keeps all love letters but can’t believe that Ash stopped writing her after they’d got married. Plus she threw the box away without checking it. Unbelievable! Now Ash’s so in trouble. Hope she can fix it soonest. But how? excellent chapter. please pms!
