Chapter 8

Ashley’s POV

I just got out of the shower and I have to go and pick Spencer up in 30 minutes, but I can’t figure out what to wear, I mean I know it’s a carnival but I have to wear something nice. I run to my closet and after 15 minutes I throw on my jeans and a white shirt with my green soccer King High soccer hoodie that has my last name on the back along with my jersey number. I grab my wallet and car keys and head to Kyla’s room to tell her it’s time to go.

“C’mon Kyla lets go we have to pick up Aiden and Madison after we pick up Spencer.” I tell her.

“Tell me again why we have to all take one car?” she annoyed.

“Cause there might be a lot of people there, so let’s go now.”

“Alright fine.” she says grabbing her green hoodie also.

As we head out the door I pick up my shoes and call Spencer to tell her were on our way. After a short drive and having to listen to Kyla give me directions we get to Spencer’s house.

I turn off the car and get out.

“Ash what are you doing.” she asks

“I’m going to go and get Spencer and your coming.” I tell her and walk around to the passenger side and pull her out of the car.

“But Spence said to jus call her.”

I just ignore her and continue walking. I knock on the door and a guy with brown hair answers and I know it’s her dad.

“Hi Mr. Carlin I’m Ashley and this is my sister Kyla we are here to pick of Spencer.” I say to him as Kyla just stands silently.

“It’s nice to meet you two, Spence should be right-” he is cut off by Spencer walking down the stairs wearing jeans and a black Abercrombie & Fitch shirt. Damn she looks so hot that shirt and the jeans wow. Kyla knows that I’m starring cause she cuts in.

“Hey Spence you ready.” she asks Spence while I wipe the drool off the face.

“Yeah.” she tells Kyla.” Dad I’ll call you when I’m on the way home.” she kisses him on the cheek” love you dad.”
