“This would be your first time right? With a girl?” She asks nervously. I look at her, thinking I know where she’s going with this.

“Actually this would be my first time with anyone.” I quietly confess, looking down at her sheets and hoping this doesn’t change anything. I think she can sense my nervousness because she lays a hand on mine and begins to lightly rub the back of my hand with the pad of her thumb.

“I just want it to be perfect for you." I look back up and into her deep and protective eyes. "My first time was rushed and it happened so fast I don’t even remember when it started and finished. You’re very special to me Spencer and I want you to remember your first time, I just want it to be perfect and unforgettable. Not some drunken night when the alcohol got the better of you and you wake up in the morning questioning what happened.” Her eyes are sincere and I soften under her gaze and nod my understanding.

“Well I appreciate it, I really do.” It’s a very genuine and noble thing Ashley is doing for me. She could have easily taken me right then and there but she’s right, I probably wouldn’t have remembered it all and I’m pretty sure I want to be completely coherent when this goes down.

We get changed into our pajamas and get settled in her bed, Ashley with her arm wrapped around my shoulder and my face nuzzled in her neck.

“I love you Ashley.” My eyes suddenly shoot open and I’m not exactly sure if I just said that or if I just thought it really loud. When Ashley repositions herself to prop herself up on her elbows, eyes just as wide as mine then I know I wasn’t just thinking it.

“What did you just say?” Ashley hastily asks. Her eyes are burning into me and scare me out of confirming my statement.

“Um, nothing. Goodnight.” I quickly say turning over to face the opposite direction but before I can Ashley restricts me and pins down my shoulder so I’m laying flat on my back and she straddles my hips. Well this is unexpected.

“No, what did you say?” Her smile is wide and I know she heard me and I narrow my eyes to figure out what kind of game she’s playing. She lowers herself onto me and just when I think she’s about to kiss me she bypass’ my lips and stops when she gets to my ear. “Say it again.” She commands in a whisper and I feel myself get a jolt of chills and my clit jump at the sultriness in her voice.

I place my hands on her shoulders and press her off of me to look her in the eye. Her smile fades and the moment becomes serious. We keep eye contact for an undisclosed amount of time before I repeat myself.

“I said I love you Ashley.” I meant it.

When she doesn’t respond I begin to think I’ve said too much too soon.

“I love you too Spencer.” I feel a smile spread on my face and she reciprocates a genuine and caring smile.

We continued to gaze in each other’s eyes for who knows how long before she climbs off me and gives me a sweet kiss on the lips and we take our previous positions in bed, her arm a little tighter around me than before and me nuzzled a little closer. That was the most peaceful sleep I’ve ever gotten and I know I will never forget that night for as long as I live.
