“Spencer I don’t know what else to say…” I told her “I mean I wrote a song…”
“Ashley I don’t care about a fucking song! Who you are on that stage is such a small part of who you really are…the Ashley that walks up on that stage will say whatever she needs to…but this Ashley…I’m starting to forget who she is…”
That’s What You get I guess right? How many times have we heard the lyrics “dry your tears” well you know, it’s a lot easier to sing than it is to do. My heart is telling me one thing and my mind is telling me another…
I’m sitting here on the stage after the show looking at the arena that was once sold out with fans…you know athletes always say how they love the gym or the field when they’re the only ones there, I’m the same way with the stage…just soak it all in right? Because you never know when it may be your last time
“you ok?” I heard behind me then I turned around and it was Jeremy
“uh yeah…” I said
“you sure?” he asked again
“no…actually, I don’t know Jeremy…” I started then he came and sat down next to me with our feet hanging off the stage “…I just feel like my entire world that was the ground beneath my feet is being pulled out from under me…”
“I bet it feels that way…” he told me “…but ash, all the people that supported you before are still there for you, I mean, me and the guys…we’ll always be behind you, and even though it may not look like it…Spencer cares about you so much…”
“you’re right…it doesn’t look like it…”
“you know you shouldn’t have kissed Aiden right?”
I rolled my eyes at him “I know. Trust me I know, are you gonna give me crap about it too?”
“hey easy…I’m not gonna give you crap about it…the mistakes we make we learn from. And hopefully we learn from those mistakes for the better and realize who we’re supposed to be with…”
“what if I’m afraid to be with the person I’m supposed to be with…”

ok FYI everytime someone puts lyrics in a story I look up the song and let it play why I read it and holy shit I could cry from that song and it makes it so much more real that song is amazing. I loved this post mostly because of the song lol.
