The slow, ballad comes to an end, and I send her a watery smile as the next new one begins to play.  It’s faster, and it is a lot happer.

I look up at Ashley smiling.  "Those are wondeful baby."  I begin.  "But, that’s nineteen tracks.  You said you’d never made a CD with an uneven number."  I say confused.

"There is one more.  Just listen."  She says, and I wait for a song to start.  Instead I hear her talking.

Ok, so putting this last track on the album was a tough decision because it had to go on all of them or none of them.  But, I realized that I want the whole world to know I’m saying this.  So, Spencer, you should know this is for you.  You were always perfect for me.  Since the moment we met in high school I knew you’d change my life.  And, I don’t want to even talk about how stupid I was for letting you go so many times, but I promise you I’ll never do it again.  I just want to look at our future.  And, the only futures I see for me is with you.  So, Spencer, what I’m really asking you is, will you make me the happiest person alive, and marry me?

Wait, what?  I turn around with tears in my eyes to see Ashley sitting behind me with a box opened.  In it sits a gold engagement ring with one of the biggest stones I’ve ever seen in it.  "So, will you?"  She ask smiling at me.

"Of course baby.  Of course."
