That Girl. – (Chapter: Beach Houses And Record Labels.)

Time sure does fly when you are having fun.  Ashley had always heard the expression, but she really never knew it was that true until that moment.  She sat there quietly at her desk reading over the papers that she needed to sign.  She wanted everything to be perfect in that moment.  A lot of people would wonder how being in your forties could be even close to perfect.  Ashley knew exactly how.  She still had Spencer.  After all these years, she still had the one person that she would always truly care about.  She got to wake up every single morning beside the girl of her dreams.  That was perfect.  With a smile on her face, Ashley signed the last dotted line before handing the paper over to her lawyer.

Ashley came back into the house an hour later than she said she’d be home.  This meant that she was getting in around one in the morning.  Spencer did not look to happy.

"Where have you been?"  Spencer asked, and Ashley was shocked be the question.

"I told you it is a surprise.  I can’t tell you."  Ashley said.

"Are you cheating on me?"  Spencer asked again, and Ashley felt like she’d been shot in the heart for Spencer even thinking she’d cheat on her.

"Of course not baby.  Come here."  Ashley said opening her arms to Spencer.  "I would never, ever cheat on you.  You know that.  I’ve been planning something special.  Tonight I just had to finish that up."

    "You promise?"  Spencer asked.

"Of course.  I love you."  Ashley said placing a kiss on Spencer’s head.

"I love you too."  Spencer said.

A week later, Ashley and Spencer were running around their house behind a very energetic little boy.  Their grandson was now three years old, and his parents were on a vacation.  Drake was born just a year after Taylor and Sam got married.  Raising a boy had been interesting, but he was a good kid.  Right now; however, he ran through the house with Spencer’s bra hung over his head.

"Drake Ryan Davies, if you don’t get your ass back here."  Ashley yelled.

"Do not cuss at him."  Spencer said running behind Ashley.

"Well, it makes me jealous that some boy is that close to your bra."  Ashley said stopping her running.  The three year old had made it clear that he wasn’t stopping anytime soon.

    1. Hey SpashLuva, the story clearly says that Taylor and Sam went home. Drake was at their house because he is their kid. So, yeah. I love how you think the story is bad because of the choise of parenting.

    2. when ashley said her daughter didn’t have a musical bone in her body i figured she was giving it to sam and i was right i’m so happy she did pms
