As we drive by the posted " No Trespassing" sign i smile at how many times the farmer that owns this field has chased me off of here. I come up here to think, it has a beautiful view of the lake and at sun set it is amazing. I had got word that they farmer and his family would be out of town for a couple days so i thought it would be a good time to bring my little brother, Caleb, up here with me, I smile down at him as he sits in front of me on the four wheeler. He was so excited when i told him we were going on a ride that he could barley contain himself. He was dressed and ready in ten minutes flat. This little boy has me wrapped around his little finger. He is 3 and all I have left. Our mom passed away when I was 14 and a month after Caleb was born, and our dad, well lets just say he spends the whole day with a bottle of jack in his hand. He took mom’s death super hard and blaims himself and I think maybe even Caleb. So now i take care of him. I’m 17 but i feel about 25 trying to keep up with this little guy, school, and sports. It’s so hard to keep up with everything and still be here for him. But i have to keep my grades up and I play sports to get a scholarship to help pay for school. He loves going to the games any way haha.

We finally get the the top of the hill that over looks the lake. I shut off the four wheeler and sigh.

" Wanna get off and sit on the ground bud or stay on here?"

Just as Caleb goes to answer I hear someone start yelling. Shit he must be back already.

" HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU BOY, STAY OFF MY LAND!!"

Hahah well he is in for a surprise when i take me helmet off. I go to grab the key to turn it on and he yells again.

" Dont even think about it son! Your done and coming with me. Take that helmet off now!"
