    Oh just the scent of you it makes me hurt. So how’s it you that makes me better.

    “For bloody sake Becky stop saying bird;” Nicole said turning away form Becca to the group “You all the only people in the United Kingdom who even use that are over 70. She’s a dork where we’re from.”

    “And here I was thinking you were the coolest thing since Aviators.” Ashley feigned disappointment. She shifted closer next to Spencer who was actually paying attention the Virgin Suicides. She playfully bit the girl’s ear, who in turned glared at her and moved further form her. Ashley just moved closer and continued to distract Spencer from watching her favorite movie.

    “I’m cooler than those damn shades, this girl knows nothing. She’s just thicko.” Becca said through her teeth and Nicole gave her an exaggerated smile. “Tart.”

    Nicole flipped her off and went to go look at Ashley’s movie collection. Becca tried to trip but failed. She noticed her phone ringing and ran to her big purse to answer the phone.

    “Ello?” Becca answered quickly forgetting to check the caller id. There was a pause on the other end of the line; however, Becca could hear someone breathing. “Ello?” She repeated

    “Hi.”

    Becca instantly recognized the voice and her muscled tensed through out her entire body.

    “Madison?

    “Yeah I went to your house and your mom said you were here, so I’m outside and I really want to talk to you.”

    Becca closed the phone and looked around the room; everyone was oblivious to her phone call. Spencer and Ashley way to busy making out to even notice, Aiden was checking himself out in a compact, and Nicole was watching him. Becca rose quietly and made a silent exit out of the room.

    She took a deep breath when she got to the huge oak door of the Davies mansion. She stepped out side and saw Madison. She was sitting on the steps with her back towards the door. Becca cleared her throat loudly to get the girls attention. Madison didn’t turn around so Becca took a seat next to her.

    “Hey,” Becca said lightly as she turned to face Madison.

    Madison was silent for a few moments before finally turning to Becca. Becca saw the dried tears and the new ones forming. She fought the urge to console the girl and waited for Madison to speak.
