    She was playing Cinderella
    She was riding her first bike
    Bouncing on the bed and looking for a pillow fight
    Running through the sprinkler with a big popsicle grin
    Dancing with her dad, looking up at him
    In her eyes i’m Prince Charming
    But to him i’m just some fella
    riding in and stealing Cinderella

     "Paula, I belive Ashley Here would like to hear our thoughts on what she just heard ."I’m geussing Mr. Carlin could see how tense and nervous I was.

    "Well to be honest…"Her face of stone turns its attention to me. "I have watched you brake my daughter’s heart over and over and some how everytime your still able to swoop in and steal her heart right back. For a while there I thought you must be manipulating her into it, But then I thought I know I raised spencer better then to let anyone play her for a fool." My heart sank into my stomache just hearing those words. "Spencers no fool and the only logical answer I can think of is that she truly loves you. You know I share a love with Arther thats so strong that after 25 years together he can still send chills up my spin when he holds me and butterflies in my stomache when we kiss. Its a Love so strong it has gotten us thought so much over the many years we have spent together.I want that kind of love for Spencer. I want her to experience a power that strong because it changes your life when you do." She pause and looks me in the eye "Ashley I think Your the only person who will ever be able to give her that love."Paula stands and wraps her arms around me. "Welcome to the family Ashley. We Love You."

    "I love you guys too…Mom"

     After a few minutes of discussing my plans for the evening Dad finally called spencer down. When she emerged she was wearing a denim skirt and a simple tank top. She smiles at me and my heart melts instantly.

    "Hey Ash, You ready?"She smiles knowing nothing about our plans for the night.

    "I Sure am."

    "Hey you girls be carful tonight and have fun."He hugged and kisses us both.
