Ashley: “Badass to knight rider, come in knight rider, over.”

Aiden: “This is knight rider, badass, what’s your status, over?”

Ashley: “Outside target area, waiting for confirmation from lil Davies, over.”

Aiden: “Okay, badass, note the time, in two minutes you will enter the target area and proceed with mission ‘soul mate.’ So far everything is clear on my end, check in with lil Davies, and good luck, over.”

Ashley: “Thanks, knight rider. Badass to lil Davies, what’s that status on your end, over?”

Kyla: “Everything’s quiet here Ash, I mean badass. No signs of guards and no civilians about. Commence mission in t-minus one minute, over.”

I pull the black skull cap over my hair and tuck the walkie-talkie into my black pants. I slowly rise from my crouching position to see over the bush I’m tucked behind. He is dragging his feet as he makes his way up the walk and up the steps and slowly pulls his keys from the chain on his belt. I look at my watch; 12:00 on the dot.

The security guard unlocks the door and I stand against the brick wall not twenty feet away from him. I readjust my black turtleneck and start inching my way against the wall towards the now unlocked door. When I’m half way there I catch sight of Aiden, also in all black, standing behind a tree. His raised arm and fist are at a ninety degree angle and he brings it down by his side to signal I can proceed against the wall towards the door. I then see him speak into his walkie-talkie. After a moment his two fingers motion for me to enter the building, and I do. I quietly open the doors and side-step down the hallway as quickly as possible.

The hallway is composed of seven doors, four on the left, and three on the right. At the end of the hall there are a flight of stairs on the left-hand side and on the right is another pair of double doors that lead outside. That’s where Kyla, aka lil Davies is stationed. My target is room number 117, or the third door on the left side. In that door is the answers I’ve been looking for, or at least I hope so. I know that the door will be unlocked. I know that I only have seven minutes to reach my goal. And I know that if I’m caught I will be expelled.
