Trevor: “So you think I’m cute huh?”

Melissa: “Damn you Aiden.” She mumbles. Trevor frowns.

Trevor: “So you don’t think I’m cute then?”

Melissa: “No it’s not that, I mean I-I do it’s just-” She stutters and he puts his finger to her lips, silencing her.

Trevor: “Shush, that’s all I needed to know.” He says shaking his head assuringly then removes his finger. “I…I think you’re cute too.” He says bashfully, which is really weird, because this is Trevor we’re talking about here. He’s like Jake! The he leans in and kisses her!

Spencer: “Oh my God!” I whisper.

Ashley: “I know!” She whispers in my ear as we continue watching them.

Trevor: “So you want to go to prom with me?”

Melissa: “Uh huh.”

Trevor: “Great! So you need a ride home?”

Michelle: “See you guys later.” She says to us, quickly. “Lets go.” She says, taking his hand.

ASHLEY’S P.O.V.

I wake up to butterfly kisses on my neck.

Ashley: “Mm Spen.” She brushes her fingertips across my stomach. “Don’t do that, we have to go to school.” She chuckles, and I finally open my eyes and look at her.

Ashley: “So, I guess this is your way of waking me up and telling me we need to get ready?” She chuckles.

Ashley: “Why haven’t you said anything yet?” She shrugs. I sigh.

Ashley: “Are you giving me the silent treatment?” She points to herself and shakes her head no.

Ashley: “Well say something to me.” She pulls a dry erase board out of nowhere, writes on it, then hands it to me.

Ashley: “Let’s play Charades.” I read out loud. I look at her. “So you’re not gonna talk to me?” I ask. She takes the board, writes on it, then hands it back to me.

Ashley: “I will, just not yet.” I read out loud. I sigh again. “Lame!” She chuckles and points back at the dry erase board

Ashley: “Right now?” I ask confused and she nods. “Okay…” I trail off. She smiles and stands up. She then holds up seven fingers.

Ashley: “Seven words.” She nods then holds up a finger. “First word.” She pretends like she’s driving in a car, then stops and gets out. She bends down and moves her hand in a circle.

Ashley: “Tire?” She shakes her head no and keeps moving her hand. “Roll?” She shakes her head no again. “Rims?” She sighs and shakes her head no again. I laugh. “Wheel?” She stops and shakes her head happily. She stands up and points to me.

Ashley: “Me?” She shakes her head no. “You?” She nods. She pretends to drive again. “Drive?” She shakes her head no, then shoos me away with her hands. “Go away?” She waves her hand saying almost. “Away?” She shakes her head no. “Go?” She nods.

Ashley: “Wheel you go…” I say, not yet understanding. She holds up two fingers. “Wheel you go two…” She dances around the room. “Dance?” She shakes her head happily the points to herself. “You?” She shakes her head no. “Me?” She shakes her head happily and just stands there, looking at me.

Ashley: “Wheel you go two dance me…” I say laughing. She scowls. “Ok ok…Will you go to prom with me?” I say.

Spencer: “Yes!” She says, flinging her arms around my neck and hugging me tightly.

Ashley: “Spencer…” She looks at me happily. “I’m sorry…that wasn’t me asking you, I was just guessing.”

Spencer: “What?” She asks, sadly confused.

Ashley: “We should get ready for school.” I say, pushing her hair back and kissing her cheek. She looks at me confused, and I go to the bathroom to get ready.
